Love Novela tbh. It can get a bit weird at night if there are too many people standing, but when it hits that sweet spot of just the right amount of people and intimacy, it's fantastic. The drinks are also great, and the old fashion had personality

I don’t know if I just came on an off night, but I tired two drinks off their specials which both tasted primarily of bitters. I asked for a gin and tonic as a safe alternative, but the tonic was completely flat. The atmosphere was beautiful and they had a decent amount of patrons for a Monday night, but we left with 3 unfinished drinks.

The Novella classic cocktails, Mary Lennox and Kaladin Stormblessed, were very satisfying. Order those if you like tequila or gin. It’s like sitting in a sophisticated neon library. It’s a clean lounge to chill with friends whether you have a small or large group. I’d love to come back and try more cocktails along with some food.

It's always fun to stop in for a quick drink.
