Great service, amazing food and you can't beat the atmosphere.

We went for our anniversary dinner and was highly recommended. Atmosphere was great a little loud but we didn't mind. Our waitress was so good, the food hmmm quite disappointing. We both ordered the bistecca marsala, and bistecca was great. The risotto was soooo undercooked wow... we absolutely love our risotto al dente, but this was way undercooked. It came with brussel sprouts which I loveeee, and I tell you I would have let the risotto go if the sprouts where great. As soon as I but it in my mouth gosh.... the bitterness of the burn was so overwhelming that it ruined my taste for anything else. That said, I hear so much rave for this place including my daughter that I told my husband we should give it another chance. To the owner of this place. If you can't master risotto or caramelized sprouts on a busy night? Retire it from the menu. Honestly it was terrible. I give you a bad night not two.

We stopped in for appetizers & some light food before dinner ( earlier in day) the settings at the tables were great, with nice tables and a flowing atmosphere. Was an open dining type of feeling. I was expecting booths or maybe some cozier seating, but the feel was more of a louder open tables throughout the type of atmosphere. The doors opened, & it was an airy feeling. Except that it was a sorda cold day, so it would have made more sense to have a fireplace inside the restaurant, not only in the outside area. However, the outside fireplace was gorgeous,large stone fireplace with colorful tiles!! The food for me was 8/10. I would have ordered more but was cold in the restaurant. Is not their fault. I should have worn a full jacket, not a sweater. And was a windy day. But yes, it was overall good, I just was expecting a better experience & the food to be more saucey or oils on the table for bread to dip at least. Was too dry for me. Anyhow nice stone plates & set up was classy.. Not cozy there, tho if you're looking for Romantic.

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner during the Christmas season last year, so it was very busy. The food was amazing. The best Italian food I ever had. The best part of the restaurant by far. The drinks were also amazing. The service was mediocre, but I assume that was so because of how busy it was. The atmosphere was alright, but it is way too dark in there. We had to use the flashlights in our phones to read the menus, which is pretty ridiculous. I understand that is the atmosphere and vibe you're going for, but please put on more lights during dinner time. The restaurant is also on the pricey side. I would give 4 stars, but because of the outstanding food that makes up for the other less than outstanding service and atmosphere, I will give 5 stars.
