North Dumpling

I used to like this restaurant a year ago or so, but it seems that they may be under new ownership or something, because it has gone downhill. The waitress that is there running the store now is quite rude, and seems not interested in providing good service. No clarification of menu items, less accommodations than before, no offer of water or drinks without having to ask her first, not paying attention whatsoever when you attempt to go pay, I could go on and on, but it's enough that I'm not really interested in going anymore. The food is fine, but not worth eating here for the overall experience.

Survived the pandemic because the food is so good. Very long menu and specials. Many things you can not get anywhere else. We always order extra to take home.

点完餐了才在网上发现这家评价如此之低，看了网友的留言顿时有种溜之大吉的冲动，很难想像一家餐馆能获得如此的低的评分。唯一的女服务员告诉我菜已经做上了，也只能怀着忐忑的心情硬着头皮吃了。点了一份海鲜饺子味道还可以，虽然没吃出什么馅的 ；包子就真是像网友说的一样，难以下咽，有一种说不上来又类似于消毒水的味道，可能是冷冻太久又或是放了什么高科技调料？拌黄瓜卖相不太好，吃起来也还算中规中矩；凉拌木耳有泡发之后残留的热水温度，根本不凉，还是甜口盖过了其他味道。结账的时候亮点来了，之前一位外国网友说他家不给小费会追着你要，我今天给了张100的，服务员问我：“你要选择哪一档位的小费，然后把剩下的找给你。”……难道不应先找钱给顾客，然后顾客自行给付吗？我问服务员你们家食材新鲜吗？为什么最近评价那么低，回答我她们家开了8、9年了…… 哦 原来开的越久口碑越差？ 综上所述，一星评价不至于，介于二星和三星之间吧。也别指望低评分会让店家去改进，都能看出来人家根本不在乎网评，只是告诉大家实际情况，避免入坑。

菜太太太难吃，服务员的态度让人感觉很奇怪，说话虽然带着笑，但是就是很怪，15%的小费合理，但是我也可以不给，小费没有强制性标准，所以最好不要理直气壮的要求，因为小费是给值得给的服务。以后没有以后了！

菜难吃 服务不好

（I wouldn't give it a star if I could. We ordered a pot of lamb chops. I asked the boss lady if there was soup in the pot. She said no. I said we wanted to drink some hot soup. At that time, the boss lady recommended us the haggis. For soup, I said we could just order the mutton soup. We also ordered two fennel dumplings, one fried pancake, one steamed bun, and one bowl of beef noodles. After waiting for about half an hour, the boss lady brought us a mutton soup. Mixed soup and a pot of lamb chops, both of which are filled with soup. I asked the boss lady when we ordered the pot of lamb chops, is there any soup in it? You recommended the haggis soup to us, but we only ordered the haggis soup! Why did you serve us the Guozi Lamb Chops and you told us that there was no soup in the Guozi Lamb Chops? When we serve the pot of lamb chops and lamb offal soup, there is so much soup in them that we can’t tell the difference? The landlady didn’t even explain the poor service attitude, she looked as if she owed him millions and was speechless . The fennel dumplings and steamed dumplings tasted like they had been frozen in the refrigerator for a long time . There was no beef noodles inside. The beef and noodles are very short, as if they have been frozen in the refrigerator for a long time and cut into small pieces after cooking . The store is empty during meal time. If it were not for the open sign, you would think that this place has been closed permanently. It was empty inside and I am writing this review to warn people about the hygiene issues that I personally find alarming. They have wooden chopsticks on the table for you to eat and when I used them I thought I could keep them but that was not the case but then I wondered if they reuse these chopsticks. Stainless steel cutlery can be put in the dishwasher for steam sterilization, as opposed to wooden chopsticks. So should I eat with chopsticks that have been used before and have not been sterilized? The seasonings in the seasoning box are all lumpy and it looks like they haven’t been replaced with new ones after being stored for a long time. I want to know how they obtained the business license of their store? I will call and email the health department to report them! I was really nauseous when I left and our whole family had diarrhea on the way back. This store is so rubbish! Too rubbish! Too rubbish, too rubbish, should have closed down long ago）Warning⚠️Don’t eat at this restaurant when traveling to Atlanta. The food in this restaurant will make you have diarrhea and your health is not guaranteed. Moreover, the service attitude is very bad and will make you and your family feel depressed all day long. Simple wholesome place. Nice quiet ambience. Lovely lady at the front. Great comfort food that will have you full and ready to relax. Cozy, great dim sum. I appreciate places like these so much. Vegetarian options: Great veggie options Parking: Big general parking, May get full on weekend nights

I would give 0 stars if I could. Very poor customer service. 1 lady handling the whole restaurant front on her own. We had to ask for everything. From waiting to be given our menus (not immediate upon seating), to having our order taken. They do not provide water, and when I asked for it, she said they only have mineral water and brought out bottled water, which by the way, cost $2 each, of which she did not inform before giving them to us, or I would not have agreed to them, much less 4 bottles. I had to ask for a serving spoon for my fish dish with gravy, the Xiao long bao tasted BAD. There was a pungent taste in the soup and it was disgusting. I can't even eat it. My husband said it smelled like pigs' intestines. They did not have spoons to eat the Xiao long baos with - it's supposed to be placed on a spoon so the soup doesn't spill everywhere when bit into. Common knowledge which is unsatisfactory that a Chinese restaurant does not know. When we asked for boxes to go, the lady gave the smallest boxes for our almost full plate of vegetables and pancake and we had to squeeze everything into the boxes. Seriously? When making payment, she did not even show us the break down of the receipt and just told us the amount. My husband paid and walked away without leaving a tip. The lady called him back and yelled out "I need a tip". No - you don't. Technically, it is the customer's right to decide if they want to tip. That's fine, my husband tipped and when I asked for the receipt, she slammed it onto the table without a word. I do not expect a smile but slamming the receipt to your customer? When I looked at the receipt, lo and behold, she charged $8 for the 4 bottles of water. Our 4 bowls of rice didn't even cost that much. Of course, I brought it up to her - first off, your restaurant doesn't even serve water in cups, second, you want to give me 4 bottles and not inform me beforehand the cost (like as though it was on the house because it honestly seemed that way when she just brought them out from the back). What is this, where is your business ethics? Then she curtly said ok I'll refund you. So she knew she was being unprofessional to charge me. No apologies, no explanation, zero professionalism and customer service. She refunded me for 4 bottles and just asked me to sign. No expression on her face. I walked away still feeling empty and very dissatisfied - it's not just about the refund, it's about the treatment of your customers who are humans who you should have the decency to respect. Horrible service. Please work on your customer service, and consider hiring another waiter for an extra set of hands. Not returning regardless.
