This place is superb and exactly what we needed in midtown east. So tasty, awesome ambiance and exceptional service. I’ve ordered uber eats too many times to count from the Hell’s Kitchen location and ecstatic there is now a location near by!

It's like being in Italy! The pizza is 100% Italian style. The environment also takes you back to the beautiful country. I won't add anything else. You just have to try! È come essere in Italia ! La pizza è al 100% italian style. Anche l’ambiente ti riporta nel bel paese. Non aggiungo altro. Dovete solo provare !

I have been a patron of Normas in Murray Hill since they open. The food, service and management were always impeccable. I then moved to the East 40’s during the pandemic, and came back to Norma’s in Murray Hill when I occasionally got a chance. I was excited to see a couple weeks ago that they had opened another location just a few blocks from me on 2nd Ave. We went in immediately for dinner upon seeing the sign. We were seated by the seemingly cheerful hostess. Honestly, I didn’t have a problem with her at all. She went above and beyond, and in my opinion did more than her job description should’ve required. Things started to go downhill with the server with slow service her spilling a pitcher of water on me immediately upon being seated. She apologized profusely. I was heated, but I just remain calm since I was with my boyfriend and trying not exploding during this occurrence. It took forever to get our order in. Appetizers came out. I pulled a long hair out of it. The hostess was walking by and saw that I was pulling a long hair out of my food. She apologized, and Went to go tell the manager/owner immediately. He didn’t even come over, but I did see him peeking out of the door to look at me and my boyfriend just to see what type of reaction we had or what our mood was rather than walk over to apologize and at least offer a sensible remedy. That made us feel some type of way. Nevertheless, I remained calm. I wanted to see if they’d honorably do something about it within the parameters of service and possibly the check. At the end of the meal they brought over stale cannolis as their rendition of an apology. It wasn’t handled well. Between having a pitcher of water spilled on me, slow service, hair in our food, lack of action or sentiment from management and an apologetic gesture, extended with stale cannolis, it literally left a bad taste in my mouth. If I do return to Norma’s, I will go back down to Murray Hill. I don’t have a good feeling about this location and I don’t think that they are the most honorable. It let me the impression that they are the type that would drop something on the floor in the kitchen and put it on your plate without even looking back unless you happen to notice once it was served to you. I cannot recommend this location. We definitely won’t be returning.

Wow!! best Italian we have had in this neighborhood. Excellent. Flavorful. Wish I had taken some photos. We had the lasagna and pizza along with a glass of wine. Prices all reasonable - great value overall. Great service and ambiance. Highly recommend.
