Great beer selection. Spam bowl, fish tacos and nachos with guacamole are family favorites
Enjoyed the vegatarian selections. Great outdoor dining. Awesome service.
Kid-friendliness: Loved the room it was a overall great time surf camp
Nomads was totally fine. The canteen is above the small hotel we stayed at while visiting, so we stopped in a few times go grab a drink and meet up with other friends. The vibe is comfortable, definitely casual, kind of beachy but in a more surfy way than cheesy sandals/seahorses/palm trees/resort way. Service was a little slow, but friendly and accurate. We enjoyed it as a pretty effortless bar hang, but it wasn't the atmosphere or menu I'd seek out if it took more effort than walking upstairs from our room. My personal star rating would probably be a bit lower because it's just not an experience I loved as much as some other spots in town, but I'm giving it a 4/5 all around because they definitely do a good job with the approachable vibe they're after. Parking: Nomads has a few designated spots by the entrance in the alley, but they're first come first serve and shared with the hotel that's below the canteen. There are several city lots adjacent to the canteen, but parking is competitive and signage should be considered seriously because some hours are limited and will result in towing and ticketing if signage is not observed. There is also street parking, but that is shared with other neighborhood businesses and residents and probably won't be available.
Back again (Oct 2023)! This time staying at their hotel. Love this place! Cant wait to try Surf Camp.
nomads was our first stop after a honeymoon and we’ve come back at least once since then. This place is great. We love staying here and enjoying the close downtown and beach areas. Also, you should definitely check out their surf camp.
We stayed at the hotel also and both are excellent! Wonderful service, nice staff, bro friendly, and great food!!
