Went here for the first time, hearing it has some of the best dim sum in the city. I can’t speak on other places as much but I loved every single dish we got. The pork buns and soup dumplings are definitely a must have, even their scallion pancakes were flavorful and a hit. The beef and curry fried dumplings were also wonderful. Be careful not to order too much because the portions are huge but you can continue to order if you need more! Everything was filling, we spent about $80 with three people, so very affordable! There’s only one server and she moves very quickly and efficiently so make sure you’re ready to order with your paper and don’t hold her up! Would definitely come back for dim sum!
You can close your eyes and pick anything off the menu and it will be really good! Highly recommend the fried turnip cakes, the sauteed eggplant, and anything else that looks appealing to you. Can get busy so I recommend going earlier than typical lunch hours.
What a great spot. The soup dumplings were unreal. Fresh hot and full of flavor. The scallion pancakes were thin and crispy cooked to perfection. The ginger sauce to dip in was a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I added a little chili oil to spice it up and took it to the next level. The pork bun was soft and full of flavor. I've never seen one so big in my life. A must try and I will be back for sure.
Overall, not worth the hype imo. Food was ok, the curry and beef dumplings were our favorite by a landslide. Food wasn’t as flavorful as other places in the area. One waitress working the whole restaurant. Wrong orders being brought out, etc. I’d recommend going to a different, more authentic spot in china town.
We sampled the chicken soup dumplings - superb! Also tried the shrimp and pea leaf dumplings - fantastic! The regular shrimp dumplings were not as stellar as the rest of our food items
Food was delicious! It was Dim Sum, so it was extremely busy, but despite this, service was still good.
Packed house. Tim Sums are not as salty as others. Fast service, reasonable price
