Good Asian option in South Beach. Would recommend Hakkasan over Nobu though.

There’s an old scam that often gets played on unsuspecting young men who visit European strip clubs: you walk in, sit down at a table, and order a drink, only to discover once you go to leave that you’re being charged $500 for a beer. This is basically what Nobu Miami tried to pull on my wife and I last night during what was otherwise a typically excellent Nobu dining experience. As a frequent visitor to Miami Beach, I dine at Nobu whenever I’m in town, knowing full well that eating some of the world’s most inventive Japanese food and freshest, exotic fish comes at eye-wateringly high prices. That is expected and the privilege one pays for. The other night, we ordered our typical assortment of Nigiri sushi and cut rolls, cocktails, and the amazing scallop tiradito — plus, a special that was suggested to us by our waitress: a snow crab leg grilled with truffle honey butter that could be topped with fresh uni. After we put the order in for this crab leg special, our waitress came back and told us the chef doesn’t actually finish it with uni, but CAN top it with caviar if we’d like. We declined the caviar, and opted instead for just the simple honey truffle butter. When the bill came, we discovered we were being charged $220 for this "caviar-topped" snow crab leg. No uni, no caviar, no anything that would make this dish the most expensive eight bites of anything you’ve ever swallowed. To add insult to injury, our waitress never mentioned the price of the special -- and that its price would be such an outlier compared to even the most expensive dishes on the menu. (I expected it to be somewhere between $50 and $80, which wouldn't seem so egregious considering the Miso Black Cod was around $50, and Toro Nigiri I ate was priced at $22 at piece.) But alas. I asked to speak to the manager, who never actually came by to discuss the situation. Instead, he knocked $60 off the bill, leaving the dish in question to be priced at a merely obnoxious $160 -- a price still astronomically beyond reasonable for a snow crab leg. I took this as a sign to pay quickly and never return. Had Nobu decided not to look at me as an opportunity to make a fast, extortionate buck from what they perceived to be a one-time tourist, they'd stand to gain far more in long-term value.

Bad experience honestly we don’t recommend this place the service was the worst I ever had so far One of the waitresses was the rudest We ask for ice tea and he said he wasn’t in charge of that and ask another person, like really ? We order the food and the waitress forgot to put the order and we have to wait more then one hour for the food, the bill was $700 for this service absolutely wrong There is more better places in Miami where the really care for the service
