Came here for my birthday because sushi is my favorite food. Decided to splurge and get Uni and toro. Ended up being extremely disappointed in our service. Our waiter didn’t seem to care about making our experience nice, knowing we were there to celebrate. This didn’t bother me too much in the beginning because I could tell the star of the show here is the food- not so much the experience. However, when it was time to order a second cocktail, I really did not enjoy the flavor. I’m not one to normally send anything back but it was undrinkable. And I apologized to the waiter for the trouble and asked him if it could please be replaced. Without hesitation or any kind of understanding he said no- I can bring you another one but you’re gonna have to pay for both. I was immediately disappointed and just agreed. These cocktails are not cheap. I had a hard time enjoying the rest of the dinner and it was just awkward and tense whenever the waiter came back throughout the meal. The food here is good but the experience ruins the taste. I do not recommend coming here for any kind of special occasion. Which is tough because it’s a pricier restaurant and not many people would go for just a random date night. Never returning and I will inform family and friends as well

Pretty unhappy with the service at this place. The food was good but the flow of the dinner was off. We spent the whole night waiting on various dishes to come out one by one, some took over an hour. Expected much better service due to prices and Michelin status.

This is our one of the favorites restaurant in Tampa ..last night dinner was amazing .. Byron who took care of our table was outstanding with his recommendations of dishes !! We love the bone marrow which we had before , but this time they kind of reintroduce the dish with some chili oil and it was phenomenal, the otoro is also a must have and the uni and avocado.. this place excels in service the moment you walked in you feel so welcomed .. definitely we will go back and dine there ..

Had an amazing time with friends here. Great atmosphere with even better food that wasn't outrageous on price but was on taste. Our server, Genesis, was so well informed on the menu, that it made our experience even better since we knew exactly what we wanted to order based on her recommendations and explanations. Next time I'm downtown Tampa, this will be a go-to

Without a doubt, Noble Rice is the best sushi in all the Tampa Bay Area and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere was a bit too dark and the music could have been played at a lower volume. Will definitely be back to celebrate wedding anniversary!

A Letdown in Customer Accommodation My visit to Noble Rice was marred by a stark rigidity when it came to honoring customer preferences, particularly in how their Japanese A5 Wagyu was to be prepared. Despite entering with high expectations, set against the backdrop of the restaurant's sophisticated ambiance and professional service, the experience took a turn for the disappointing due to an unexpected inflexibility. Requesting my Japanese A5 Wagyu well done, based on personal preference, was outright denied. The justification provided was a strict adherence to the chef's culinary vision, which seemingly placed the presentation of dishes as envisioned by the chef above the diner's personal taste. This approach, while possibly intended to preserve the integrity of the cuisine, overlooks a fundamental aspect of the dining experience: the diner's satisfaction. The refusal to accommodate such a basic request not only detracts from the hospitality expected at such establishments but also sends a clear message: the dining experience is solely at the discretion of the chef, with little consideration for individual preference. This stance, prioritizing culinary philosophy over customer experience, is disappointing and disregards the essence of service and hospitality. It's unfortunate that a restaurant of Noble Rice's caliber chooses to sideline the importance of a balanced approach to culinary integrity and customer satisfaction. If accommodating a diner's request is off the table, it would be more forthright to communicate this policy clearly, allowing potential patrons to make an informed decision about their dining choices. The insistence on a one-size-fits-all dining experience suggests a disconnect from the principle that the customer's enjoyment should be a priority. Concluding, while Noble Rice might offer quality cuisine and attentive service, their unwillingness to adapt to diner preferences casts a shadow over the overall dining experience. The chef's rigid stance on not adjusting cooking methods, even minimally, to suit customer requests speaks to a larger issue within the fine dining sector: a forgetfulness that at the end of the day, it's the satisfaction of the paying customer that should take precedence. For diners who value a personalized touch to their meals, Noble Rice may fall short of expectations.

I came here on Feb 9th for my 30th birthday, have been waiting a few years to come here and it did not disappoint in fact it truly truly exceeded my expectations by a long shot and was a dinner/experience I don’t think I will ever forget for Many reasons. Let me start off with, Byron - Wow, a server so amazing and unique that I remembered his name. Thank you Byron for making this experience so memorable. He so elegantly described the menu and listened to what we were interested in and made the absolute perfect recommendations, every single plate was perfectly timed, truly hit the table in the perfect moment each time. He truly took a moment to introspect on what we may enjoy the most and had a curious presence that was just the cherry on top of a spectacular meal. The food was so good, my husband and I had to pause each other each time we took a bite so we could be fully present in the flavor. I am a Tampa girl and am quite well traveled and haven’t been on a good trip in a few years as I am a new mom and I felt transported to some kind of high end restaurant in NYC. I completely forgot I was in Channelside and for about an hour felt like I was on a well needed trip with my Husband. We started with the Bone Marrow and Tartare, both out of this world. I like a traditional tartare but their spin on it was a fun twist. I do not recall what 2 rolls we had but probably some of the best sushi I have ever had and I stayed in Japan for 6 months, it was on par and probably because they boat it in from Japan, wow. I also had their version of a dirty Martini which I highly recommend as it did not distract from the flavour of the food which you DO NOT want to do. My husband got some kind of mezcal cocktail I believe which was also amazing but he admitted, a more neutral drink would be best to not interrupt the flavour of the food. I let Byron pick out my dessert and he went with the Matcha cake which was probably what I would have chosen and it was simply delightful. We had planned to go to a bar or two after for more cocktails but the food was so delicious, high quality, and clean that we literally did not want to drink anything other than clean liquors and didn’t want to eat anything else to not ruin how just good we felt after that meal. Thank you so much for such a perfect evening.
