My husband and I had a reservation at no. 246 on 3/10/24. We've been there in the past and had a 5 star experience before. I don't usually write negative reviews but this experience was very disappointing, from the time we sat down to when we left. We waited at least 12-15 minutes before we are greeted by our server. He was assisting tables around us however, never said "welcome, I will be with you shortly". Next, the drinks and food were slow to come out. We ordered the garlic bread as our app, it came out with burnt edges and burnt flakes throughout the bottom, maybe it was from the burnt flour leftover in the pizza burner, I don't know. Then for our entire we both ordered the chicken Milanese. Something we've ordered in the past. However, mine came out burnt. My husband's entrée did not. When I notified the server, he told me to hold on and that he needs to consult his manager. However, didn't remove the plate. The manager came out and told me that the chef said that is how it was suppose to come out. Which blew my mind. The bottom of the chicken was completely burned. Visually black and tasted burnt. I pointed out the inconsistency between my dish and my husband's. She said well it will probably come out again the same way. I chose another dish which took another 20 mins to get. Overall it was very disappointing experience.

Food was delicious, side of fresh homemade pasta in wine butter sauce was awesome. I could have had just the side pasta alone as a dish that it was so good. The portions were large. The chicken Marsala had just the right amount of mushrooms. But the service was the best! They knew it was our 30th anniversary. The waitress Linda (I think that was here name) took the time to research lilies represented 30 years. She gave us a small vase with handwritten message with a Lilly and a handwritten card signed by other staff in restaurant. All left personal messages of congratulations, details collected by Linda in her greeting to us. Wow excellent service and personal attention.

This restaurant looks great. It just feels high class but honestly the foot is not that great and the service well they took for ever just to get me the drinks. I pay over $200 on dinner for 3.

The food was excellent and our server was friendly. But there were some things that were not so good. Upon arrival for our 5pm reservation, we were told by the hostess that we would need to leave the premises by 6:45pm. We looked at her with a puzzled look on our faces, thinking she was kidding, she wasn't. She said, "Hey that still gives ya over an hour and a half!" As if this was supposed to make us feel better. We had a party of 5. Someone ordered spaghetti with meatballs and someone else ordered rigatoni and asked for meatballs as an appetizer (which is on the menu). She was told she could only have meatballs if she ordered spaghetti with it because they were short on meatballs. We asked if they would make an exception to avoid one person eating something that another person is being told they can't have at the same table. We were told 'no'. So an extra spaghetti &meatballs was ordered instead and the pasta went to waste. I ordered the chicken scallopini with lemon and capers. It was delicious! When I ordered it, I was asked if I wanted a side of pasta to go with it. I have been to many Italian restaurants over the years, and even dined in Italy. And I don't recall ever being offered an entree like chicken scallopini with no pasta. But for their price point of over $20, it came with chicken only. The food was good, but the atmosphere did not feel particularly customer friendly. I would not recommend it.

My wife and I had a great time for her birthday dinner last Saturday! The server was very nice. The appetizers were incredible. The entrées were fairly priced in a decent portion, and the dessert choices were phenomenal. My only constructive criticism is to make sure the host informs servers of a cake brought in, and that your servers read their chits. As nice as ours was I don’t think she knew it was a birthday table. My chit was pretty long, 2 fell out her pocket and I read them all in entirety. I had to nicely pull the server to the side to let her know I brought a cake just in case the tiramisu didn’t have a special plate or candle (which it did not(we love a prepared husband)) Thank you no 246. Coming back for brunch.

CONSISTENTLY fantastic food every single time we visit. We’ve been here 3 times in the past 3 weeks because we love it so much. The food is divine everytime! We love the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta, meatball, chicken parm and garlic bread. We will be coming here for years to come! Found it on Tik Tok

Got charged 45 dollars for a pour of KC at 170 dollar which is a ridiculous charge so management which sets prices earns this 1*. Also did the “chef table” where two of the 100 dollar meals came with one dish? If there was one person who did this they would get the same? So how do you justify charging 100 for the additional person?

My family and I found this gem back in 2013 and returned last night for our first time since. The food and service was even more delightful and delicious. We had the Fritto misto calamari & shrimp, Caesar salad, chicken Marsala, black spaghetti, shrimp scampi with half portion of pasta, and one of their pizzas. Every single item was expertly crafted and extremely delicious. The table was quite small but we made it work. The staff was friendly and well informed. The menu is in traditional Italian and our waiter all of our questions effortlessly. Parking: After 6pm street parking is free. There wasn't much parking by 6:30/18:30 the time of our reservation. I called the restaurant and they explained all of my parking options fairly well. My family and I parked behind South State in a lot for $10. There is a free lot behind a church or behind a library. It all depends on how far you'd like to walk.
