NM Cafe

My family and I are frequent customers here. All of the staff are super friendly and personable. They even remember us whenever we walk in. They always attend to our needs and we can be needy at times with a fussy two year old. The food is always delicious and fresh. Atmosphere is perfection for mall dining. Honestly our favorite place to eat at RF Mall. Today they surprised my husband and I with a generous goody bag that was leftover from Valentine's Day. That was very kind of them and they didn't have to. They even put some cookies in there because they remembered we have a son at home. Thank you NM Cafe. We love coming to your restaurant and will always be back!

Wife has been coming here for years. I never understood why until now. An overall wonderful lunch experience. They start you with a complimentary popover and cup of broth, both of which were great to start with. We ordered the truffle fries which were crispy and flavorful. The special crab and pasta was creamy, plentiful and delicious. The grilled cheese was great, as was the linguini and clam sauce. If you order the Caesar salad with chicken prepared to be overwhelmed by a very generous portion. Our waiter, Michael, was pleasant and very helpful. Will definitely go back.

The atmosphere was great, servers were friendly and accommodating. Food was amazing and the specials stood out the most. They started us off with some chicken soup and the fluffiest and airiest bread I’ve ever tried.

My mom is old school. She grew up in an era when all best dept stores had cafes. She used to love going to Lord and Taylor’s Café but it’s closed now. I saw that Neiman Marcus had a café and they had finger sandwiches, so I decided to take her there for Mother’s Day. When we arrived the hostess was very nice. A beautifully dressed woman who looked like the manager showed us to our table. She was very accommodating and quick thinking as my mother has a shopping cart she also uses as a walker. The manager seated us at a table and removed a chair so we could tuck the cart underneath where it wouldn’t get in anyone’s way. Upon sitting down, we were served popovers with strawberry butter and chicken broth. It was a delightful treat. We ordered the finger sandwiches, the Mandarin orange souffle with chicken salad, and truffle fries. Everything was delicious and the presentation wonderful. Our server Anthony was great too. They even gave her a little gift when leaving. My mother loved it. She even told the manager, I picked the best place to bring her for Mother’s Day. Thank you for such a lovely Mother’s Day. We will be back. Parking: There is plenty of parking in Roosevelt Field. Which is also another big plus. TIP: If you park on the Neiman Marcus front enterance side and go up to the rooftop of the lot, you will be on the same level as the restaurnat on the 2nd floor. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is spacious enough for easy access with a wheelchair. Also easy to park and get to the elevator. If you go to the Neiman Marcus parking lot, you can park on the upper level which is closer to the restaurant. My mom uses a walker and the manager was very accomdating and quick thinking. She seated us at a table and took a chair away so the walker could slide under the table. I saw a few other customers there with wheelchairs.

Beautiful ambiance and very good wait staff. Only reason for a 4 out of 5 is the quality of food. Bread and butter were great but burger was lacking. Cocktails did not disappoint.

Overworked and rude staff. Was told to wait 15 minutes - 30 minutes later two parties of equal size seated before us - My Dad went there twice a week for a year but new staff (maybe for the holidays?) is and we won’t be returning.

Great service and even better food - what more could you ask for?

I cannot say enough about NM Cafe. It's a little hidden gem. The service, food and overall ambiance was all wonderful. This is going to be my go to lunch place.

Hostess is incredibly rude - put 2 parties who came after before my party. Never apologized. Is rude condescending and unpleasant. Would never eat here again.
