Where else are you going to spend your birthday at then the #1 birthday place. the onion rings are awesome 2019. 2020, Didn't think I could celebrate my birthday during covid, but my wish came true. Awesome service, Seth and Carly, you all made my day extra special. Thanks for letting my husband share his birthday too. And they gave me a mug for my cousin, who I usually celebrate with. See you all again in 2021, covid free. ❤ Yet another great time at our annual birthday celebration. Again great service, good food and another mug for the collection. Keep it up nitty-gritty staff. 2023.

Delicious Burgers

Failure to recognize the gravity of food allergies leading to allergic reaction. Please avoid this restaurant if you have a food allergy or intolerance. Dietary restrictions: I brought my child with egg allergies to the Nitty Gritty. I asked for her food to be free of egg allergens. The waitstaff took careful notes. My child ate the meal that was served, then vomited in the bathroom at the restaurant, then vomited at home all night, requiring medication for her allergic reaction. We learned she was served the gluten-free bread instead of egg-free (vegan) bread, leading to her dangerous allergic reaction. DO NOT visit this restaurant if you have food allergies or any food intolerances. We can no longer come to this restaurant as we cannot trust their ability to serve food free of allergens. Best to avoid, better options are nearby anyway. We spoke with the manager, still no luck in getting them to recognize the gravity of food allergies and what had happened. Sorry, never coming back. I hope others avoid this restaurant as well. Best regards, Travis and family

Burger was delicious & the fries ok. Lots of tv's to watch. Prompt service. Kid-friendliness: Food choices were fine for kids. My grandson liked his meal.

Awesome place to have lunch dinner and few drinks

Great service and the best burgers we've had in Wisconsin! We highly recommend!!

Service is a bit slow here. Waited a really long time for water and napkins. We went on a Monday with a party of 3 and there was no wait. The burgers are really good. Just poor service. The food is good enough to outweigh that so 5 stars.
