Favorite ramen in SD. The spicy ramen is the way to go. Everything on the menu is pretty good and well priced. Can get busy and have had a free screwed up orders over the years but can't fault the place, they always try to correct it.
Great food very crowded feeling but that’s just me. Loved it
We were seated almost immediately (party of 3). Our server was very friendly and informative, offering to put the spice on the side for my friends who couldn’t handle it. We got the vegetarian ramens (normal and spicy) as well as the spicy chicken and everyone liked it. The soy-based vegetarian broths were surprisingly creamy! Service was quick, with dishes served within 10 minutes of ordering.
It was my first time at a japanese ramen place and it was really good! They have a "death" sauce that is phenomenal for those of you who chase the endorphins with hot foods.
Always our go to spot, on a cold day or after a hard day’s work.
SCAMMERS ! Been eating at Nishiki for 6 years and it is my favorite ramen in SD, just don’t recommend this location at all. Everytime I order takeout, they forget items, it happened all 3 times I ordered takeout and when I called to complain they will treat you like you’re lying and ask a bunch of questions over and over again. Last time they told me takeout order are not charged 15% service fee and still charged me and refused to give me a receipt and never got reimbursed. When I got in touch with the manager Daniel, he reimbursed me for the missing item but never offered me an apology or anything like that. In other words, food is good but service sucks, feels like they’re doing you favor! Go to Nishiki in Kearny Mesa, where service is on point and you’re not treated like a liar! I rather driving 15 minutes more to be treated like a real customer.
