I visited to Nippon Cha because of an ad I saw on Instagram, and I just moved near Bayside so I want to check it out. And Wow! I ordered the Sashimi feast and Matcha Latte float. The sashimi tasted fresh, it had all the best quality items in one tray, such as Wagyu and Uni. It came with rice, salad, and miso soup too so you don’t walk out still hungry. I loved the taste of all the cuts and this is coming from a big time sashimi lover, it was all perfect and a delicacy. I also had to finish my meal with a matcha latte float. This was the best matcha I’ve ever had as the earthy green flavor was really present, and it didn’t have a grass taste at all. The ice cream in the float was really matcha present as well. I also love how the latte didn’t have extra sweetness as I could tell high quality was present. I will be visiting again to try their other foods. If you want authentic japanese comfort food, please please come to Bayside and give Nippon Cha a go!!
I’m pretty sure the thousands reviewes are bot or fake reviews because the sashimi I got tastes so unfresh but price is super premium. Got stomach ache afterwards
Yesterday First time here, wanted to try the tea noodles here, but they havr new sushi menu, it made no sense, I ordered a raw fish covered rice —Tochucha chirashi .
I love this original ramen spot and this place is officially Authentic Japanese.
First time here.. really good matcha latte !! Will come back again !!
My friends and I have become regulars at this place, because the food is so good! The flavors are so clean. Though the sushi's were not the best, they are ok. The restaurant is a bit on the smaller side, so it can get a bit crowded inside. However, it's bern worth it every time. The gyu don and the spicy miso ramen are personal favorites. As well as their matcha latte. .
One of the better ramen shops, the food was delicious, generous topping size, and server was attentive. My Tonkatsu came with 3 thick slices of pork and lots of bamboo shoots.
Traditional Japanese food here, worth to try.
Excellent every time. The tochucha tea noodles and rice are a cool new way to enjoy ramen and katsu dishes, and the ingredients are fresh and well prepared. The sushi and sashimi are the best in Bayside, and the chef creates beautiful presentations. Oh yeah, and the deserts are lovely.
great tasting food, the takoyaki is always good as well as the spicy miso ramen
