The food is tasty and the bathroom is very clean
I've lived in the South Bay all my life and never knew this place existed, sort of a little hidden jem. I had the infamous Matzo Ball soup. The broth and soup itself was delicious! The Matzo ball didn't have much flavor, and I found the texture hard to stomach. I also had the grilled ham and cheese sandwich with fries. The fries were perfectly crunchy and unsalted. The sandwich was amazing, and the bread is what made it. It had some sort of fennel seed. Service was fair but prices were too high, in my opinion.
This restaurant is located in a strip mall so one might miss it, like I had for many years. One night it caught our eye while on our way home thinking about dinner options. We decided to give it a try and we're so glad we did! This is a family-owned, restaurant and deli with a nostalgic decor of old pictures on the wall. We were very pleased with the food and service. No doubt we'll be back. Parking: The free parking lot is out front of the strip mall where this restaurant is located.
These N.Y. Deli style sandwiches are delicious! You’ll find all your NY Deli favorites here and there’s plenty to choose from. Dine in or order to-go you will not be disappointed with anything you choose. Cone enjoy a great meal soon! There’s a good amount parking in the lot and the service is always friendly.
Local spot for your matzo ball soup fix
It's still the best Pastrami in the South Bay! I came just before closing to set up for the dinner crowd, so I had to get my order to go. Pastrami on Sourdough. I forgot to ask for toasted bread, but it all worked out since it would've been soggy by the time I got home. I ended up adding some mayo and Provolone, making it grilled cheese style. Bomb!! They seriously need to consider this an option!
