We just stumbled on this place for lunch. If we designed our ideal eatery from scratch, this would be it. The atmosphere is open yet cozy, the food is delicious (we had the grilled cheese, Philly, and tomato basil soup), and the staff are both helpful and friendly. A perfect place to dine alone or meet up with friends. I'd give it more stars if I could.
A very lovely sandwich shop. Hands down one of the best grilled cheeses and tomato soups I’ve ever had. The person who took our order was super nice and helpful. The shop itself is super cute and “aesthetic.” If we’re ever in the Austin area again, we will definitely be stopping and eating here again.
I went there for lunch with friends on a Thursday and had a great experience. A chill atmosphere that was bright enough to read a book but not so bright to make it annoying. Some great jazz playing and really nice staff made the place perfect. I had a Reuben and the Maine Root Cream Soda. The sandwich was hot, juicy, and delicious. I'll definitely be back.
Hidden gem in Hyde Park. Sandwiches and open mic nights.
I met a friend for lunch and ordered a Cuban sandwich with normally has roasted pork and ham as the protein. My lunch arrived and it was basically a ham and swiss_ zero pork.
Food took longer than ETA on online ordering said… unfriendly staff….they forgot the provolone that came on my sandwich… they do have good ranch though. Good prices too. Just wasn’t impressed with my first experience
Best sweet potato fries in town… great sandwiches too. Good place to listen to music.
