This one place you got to try, dine in or just takeout. We had the beef brisket mami, pork dumplings, shrimp dumplings and pork asado siopow. Tastes are on point, service is like cooking mama, they are quick, when you are seated the serve you with tea. This place is cash or debit. From being the beast Steam Bun place, the do have a large selection of pastries and the sesame balls are a must have. Go check this place out if you in Van City.

The best steamed white buns in the city. There's a reason there's always a crowd out the doorway. They have a sit down restaurant in the back. Great for a quick meal.

Favourite dimsum place in lower mainland

Authentic Steam Buns, a Legendary Chinese Experience. Try the Black Bean Seam bun or the Spicy Pork, goes well with wonton soup on a cold day.The decor has a funky orange trim, the service is polite and fast. A favourite of ours is the Singapore Vermicelli if you're really hungry. Love to share this spot with our of town guests.

Moved from Vancouver and miss eating at New Town in Chinatown. Had a wonderful lunch and picked up my favourite Egg Tarts for my stay at the Wall Centre.

The best Chinese Bakery in the lower mainland. This place is an institution and they consistently make the best Chinese baked goods. The service is very fast and friendly and they have a collection of sweet and savory baked goods as well as a Diner if you'd like to eat in. I've been coming her since 1997 and the prices haven't changed much and some of the staff have been there since before I started coming. It'll be a sad day if New Town ever closes.
