Such a welcoming restaurant! We had a group of 8, and they made a lot of effort to accommodate us. The food was also super delicious and authentic! Highly recommend. The big spicy chicken is a must order as well as the hand pulled noodles.
They just re did their sign to take down the "New" in "New Spicy Village". This is not the real Spicy Village.... They are shamefully stealing the brand from the much better Spicy Village just 2 or 3 blocks over. Overall, the food is ok, 3/5. The employees leave some to be desired in customer service, but not bad. They should have established their own name and tried to make an imprint in the market.
I'm confused by some of the older reviews. Apparently, some people are upset because they have a similar name to another restaurant in the area? lol Those reviews by the way are similarly phrased and all have about the same number of likes. I smell fake review bombs. Also, are these people not aware of the fact that there are many restaurants that carry the same name? Famous Ray’s pizza for example? Anyway, it's not the prettiest place (or the ugliest), but the food is very good. The soup dumplings are great and so is the beef and noodle dishes. I've had little else, but all the dumplings are made fresh which is obvious, and they are very good. In the end, it's a little hole in the wall place with good food and very cheap. Check it out.
Spicy chicken huimei is excellent and very reasonably priced. The beef pancake was also very good and our group wanted to order more. Absolutely worth visiting.
