So good. One of my favorite gluten free bakeries. Dietary restrictions: Entirely gluten free

I really appreciate that Portland has a gluten free bread vendor. That being said, the fact that the cafe won’t allow you to request alterations (e.g. leaving cheese off) is mind blowing to me. How does a place that caters to an allergy not have compassion for other allergies? It’s as if the owners have no idea what it’s like to go through life with an allergy. The irony is after they refused to leave the cheese off my ham, egg, and cheese bagel, I was scraping the cheese off and realized they gave it to me without ham. Unfortunately, I’ll have to stick to buying their bread from the grocery store and skip their cafe.

We went there for gluten free meals recommended by some friends. The pizza was really good, and it didn’t taste like any other gluten free ones that we had in the past. We had a chance to chat with the person working who was helpful in explaining different menu items. We went back again so my wife could get pizza one more time. Highly recommended!

One of the best gluten-free bakeries in Portland, if not all of Oregon. Their bread, is amaaaaaaazing. Try their food. You will not be disappointed. If you've been wanting that "real bakery bread" with a hard crust and soft chewy interior that you've been missing, omg this is the place. They just have amazing bread. I need to try their pizzas also they look incredible.

Love stopping here and getting treats! It’s close to my house so I enjoy stopping in before work and getting myself something yummy! Great atmosphere and friendly staff too. Dietary restrictions: All gluten free and lots of dairy free options!

We often don’t go to the same places when we travel, but New Cascadia is a firm repeat. Does not hurt it’s like eight minutes from where we stay Staff is super sweet, puts up with our extra chattiness, answers questions and very welcoming. The food is excellent and our breakfast trip gets us through well past lunch. They take pride in everything they serve, and it shows.

This bakery has amazing food. I can finally eat bread and pizza and cupcakes again!
