Very nice spot. It's definitely worth checking out. Higher end spot and great food.
Pricey food for the size of portions. The Steak sandwich was tasty. Just a little underwhelming when it came to size. We both spent $40ish for a lunch that left us hungry. Had 1 beer, an expensive pint. Staff were very nice, and really helpful, and very attentive. Easily got a seat for lunch. Tipped well for the wait staff.
Had a great family dinner tonight. Food was delicious and the portions were perfect. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Peri peri chicken, burger and fish and chips were lovely. Lucky to have this neighbourhood gem so close to home. Family friendly until 8pm. Will definitely return.
New Camp is a great spot to unwind with friends after a long day. The waitress was super friendly, which added to the cozy vibe. I tried the steak bites and sweet potato fries as starters. The steak bites were tender but needed a bit more salt for my liking. On the other hand, the sweet potato fries were thin, crispy perfection, especially with that delicious sauce! I’ll definitely be back to give it another shot!
Server was friendly. Cheap drinks during happy hour. Will be back.
Ordered take out so keep this in mind. Ordered the brussel sprouts - so salty. No other flavour - just salt. The ‘crema’ is a salty aioli style dip - no flavour - just fat and salt. Ordered the fish and chips. The fish was not well drained of fat before it was put into the container. It made the very salty fries take on a fishy taste. This type of fish should not be fishy. The coleslaw was awful. I love coleslaw - all types. This was inedible. I’m not sure what was put into it but the flavour was horrible. It was not dill. The tartar sauce was underwhelming - I make a better tartar sauce at home. I don’t know when this place opened but I can confidently say I won’t try them again. It was also packaged pretty sloppy. Not impressed. Not worth the price.
It's a great place for a neighbourhood eatery.. our favorite cocktails are the Made By Monks and the Oaxacan Old Fashion. The fries are always on point! I do miss their French onion soup and Brisket Banh Mi, but the food is still delicious and consistent !
Great place! Big patio with umbrellas and DOG FRIENDLY! Edit. Went back tonight. Burnt chicken fingers, stale beer, mediocre service.
The table servers are stun-gun inexperienced and the food is overpriced ‘meh’, but it looks like sitting at the bar in the late afternoon/early evening would be a much less stilted, more jovial experience.
