The people working there are so nice and helpful. I wish I knew the name of the lady that helped me but unfortunately did not ask. The manager certainly did a good job with the hiring process - something I’ve seen a lack of in soho recently. Would absolutely recommend going to this store if you need help with anything. Great selection of things too.

Note: I've only been here to purchase Nespresso capsules and machines. I can't comment on the coffee bar's quality. ---- Whenever I need more capsules, I always do the internal debate or whether or not I want to deal with this store. If possible, I always order via the app just to avoid the store associates. For the most part, the store associates are fine. But there is one gentleman that works there that is always so rude. I only drink decaf and when I asked him if there were any other decaf options present as the holiday flavors were arriving, the associate said "No". Ok - fine, succinct answer. So as I was browsing the selection for half a minute or so, which is not long considering some people are at the counters for 5+ minutes making their selection, the associate goes "there aren't that many decaf options, what are you waiting for" and did a ridiculing laugh. Why work in a customer-facing position if one is inclined to give customers a tough time, especially at a brand that tries to elevate itself into the bracket of higher end coffee machines? I can't dock all the stars for the associate's behavior as I usually have neutral/fine experiences with the other associates.

I had such a horrible experience. I asked the cashier for dolce double espresso and then I said “wait I’m not sure if it’s that one” and he, with an attitude, replied “it’s the only one, there’s no other. What? Are you looking for a Chanel. We don’t have those here.” I was baffled at the unnecessary attitude. There was no reason for him to be disrespectful at my confusion on what pods I was looking for. He then proceeded to say, unapologetically, that he has been standing all day. I’m very compassionate when it comes to someone not having a good day but there was absolutely no reason for him to be this disrespectful and then JUSTIFY it by saying he’s been standing all day. I understand if he would have apologized and then said he’s been standing all day but he didn’t. I will not be coming again. Online orders from now on.

I just got this awful rude lady on the phone. I asked if I am able to make an exchange in the store because I was given as a gift a sleeve of 10 pods from my sister as a birthday gift in a flavor I am not fond of. This rude lady on the phone kept saying the person with the receipt would have to do the exchange in her deadpan monotone voice. Why is it so hard to even talk to someone from the store instead of having to talked to this rude lady with an attitude from the Nespresso club and it’s the only number that is provided for all the stores too. Their phone service leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely give it no stars!

Every time I have ever come in here I have a negative or rude encounter at this store. They are usually pretty well stocked with the pod varieties, but I consistently leave the store with a bad taste in my mouth from engaging with the staff. I will be ordering my pods online or getting them from the upper east store from now on.
