Best Macchiato I ever had.
The sandwiches are very simple, but this does not change the fact that they are very tasty! I didn't like the coffee. it was sour
Nice place in gastown to grab a coffee and some baked bread.
Really liked this little spot. Cozy and unpretentious atmosphere, great service. Really enjoyed the salmon on seed dish, nicely seasoned and very fresh. Coffee was yummy too.
Very pretentious establishment. I had a conversation with an addict outside after buying a coffee from here. Was mid conversation with a chance to show some love for a man who was lost in this world, staff came out and went to kick us both off the sidewalk patio, then she realized I had just purchased something, but she continued to shoe away the man I was talking to. No love for this neighborhood that needs help. I'd go somewhere more wholesome if I were you.
Nelson the Seagull is one of the best cafes I’ve ever been in my entire lifetime :)
5 stars for sure! Will definitely revisit! I stumbled upon this place and decided to visit because of the ambiance. While their sourdough bread, among other baked goods, seems to be famous, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious their coffee is. Rich aroma, balanced acidity, smooth texture, and a robust finish—it’s perfection from start to finish! I highly recommend the oat latte! The only downside is that the latte portion is small☹️ It would be great if they offered a larger size. The Full Nelson sandwich was also delightful, with fresh and tasty ingredients
Beautiful place with delicious food. Recommended to me by a friend and I will definitely add this to my list of favourite coffee shops in Vancouver. The carrot cake is out of this world!
