Super cheap with their toppings and overpriced.
Don't understand how a Taiyaki place in Albuquerque can have only TWO warm filling flavors(Nutella, red bean) when a Taiyaki place in San Antonio has like 10+ warm flavors and they're full sized and made warm on the spot, unlike those mini taiyakis that are pre made and sitting out. Up your game !
I understand they have very limited space to work with but for a stand specializing in Taiyaki especially when it's the one most advertised when searching for a Taiyaki place it's very lack luster . I've been to mall kiosk with small spaces who managed to have fresh full size warm Taiyaki . They would use the warm taiyaki grill pan for the cones as well just cut open the mouth and it conserved space without diminishing the fresh aspect that shouldn't need to be asked for but expected . And the small space shouldn't limit the filling for hot taiyaki . You have multiple topping for the cold serve that can double as filling for warm served . Such as oreos. Just came to Albuquerque and so far the quality of food and service here is just as this place represents. Very little options with little quality. The prices would be fair if the product was up to par.
We recently visited Neko Neko, and it was an absolute delight! The taiyaki cones were crispy, and the soft serve was incredibly creamy. The unique desserts were innovative and delicious, creating an enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly, and the overall ambiance made it a perfect place to take my family.
really the kindest staff, so yummy too
Definitely a hidden gem at sawmill!! Sweet staff and even sweeter desserts!
First time having taiyaki, and I will be back!
