It's Neil's. Don't be rude because it's your neighbor. Everyone knows everyone. Great diner food. Quick service. Loud and busy...just like NYC. And yes, titans of industry sitting next to babysitters and NYC icons. Look around.

Good little diner near Hunter Campus. Offers student discount and has very gold chicken fingers, milkshakes and egg creams.

I wish I could give no Stars to this horrible place! On 3/2/23 an elderly disabled homeless man asked if I could buy him dinner. When we walked up to this place, the man working there who refused to give his name tried to lock the door to keep us out! The man did not smell, was quiet and didn't appeals intoxicated. I insisted that he let us in and paid for his meal. The man tried to say that the man could not eat inside or use the bathroom! The place was almost empty. I couldn't believe that a Business would discrimination againan old disabled customer like this! Please don't eat here!

BEST BREAKFAST IN NYC! Eggs arrived hot. They were delivered right from the kitchen to our table. They hadn't sat under a heat lamp for 20 minutes! Potatoes were delicious! They were made fresh for us and were NOT those horrible dried up potatoe cubes. The breakfast sausage was also fresh and FABULOUS. The coffee was fresh and not that boiled down muck! Service was excellent. CAN'T SAY ENUF GOOD THINGS ABOUT OUR BREAKFAST.

FOOD: 1.) two eggs over easy w bacon, comes w country potatoes = this was exactly what I was craving, a simple breakfast, break the yolk to ooze over the potatoes with the crispy salty bacon to complement Coffee = gotta love diners and the unlimited refills too SERVICE: Great very friendly and nice ATMOSPHERE: Just your standard breakfast diner w the counter and some booth seating, not too big, a little cozy, seemingly always busy even tho it’s middle of the day and middle of the week. I love that bustling diner vibe. The counter just wasn’t that comfortable to sit bc they oddly had a shelf under the counter so I couldn’t cross my legs and have enough leg room in general l.

One of my favorite diner in UES. Friendly staff, quick service, good food.
