I love , the food, the puff bread amazing, the portions huge….
Ordered a chicken shawarma bowl, the Navroz Juice and a baklava to top it off. Tons of food - I had plenty for a second meal later in the day. Will definitely be back to try some of the other things on the menu.
(From my Yelp: yes it was so bad I’m posting this review on Google too) I never leave bad reviews. I'm the type who never vents my frustration onto the staff when the food is bad, but AVOID Navroz! The food is frozen, and they don't even try to hide it. The owner wasn't there, so I just left (why vent to the underpaid part-time workers?), but if the owner was there I'd ask them if they have ANY standards, if they have any shame, or any pride in their business at all. The owner should be ashamed of what they are trying to sell. Let me tell you, as an Arab, this is an insult to actual Lebanese food. Somewhere like Forn Al-Hara in Anaheim is a much better and more authentic experience. They use this weird, frozen naan bread for the wraps (definitely not Lebanese or even Arab). Tastes like what you can buy from Trader Joe's. The gyro meat was also frozen, but they have two shawarma rotisserie machines that are just not even being used??? It's actually kind of sad. The salad was scary, I ended up not eating it for my own safety. The lettuce was that pre-chopped stuff you get from a supermarket and it was OLD, with black stuff on the edges, yikes. And the cucumber. Oh my God. It was disgustingly bitter, like so bitter you'd think it was poisonous. By the way, that's what they call salad: pre-chopped lettuce, some thin slices of cucumber, some mystery cheese, and their so-called "tzatziki sauce." Again, have some standards. Have some shame. Shout-out to the workers, owner should be completely ashamed of themself though. Never coming back.
