Nash & Proper

I ordered from their food truck that was at my work with an estimated pick up time of 11:15am. I got to their truck at 11:30 and they didn't acknowledge anyone standing at the window until 11:50. Then they started giving out online orders around noon but also took orders at their window. Not only did they ignore my order, they gave out food to everyone that placed an order at the window for the next 15 minutes. My food was not ready until 12:25pm. The worst customer service I have ever experienced and I worked retail for 28 years. The guy at the window kept lying and saying they were working on the orders. I've only heard good things about Nash and Proper but from now on I can only say negative things. Food wasn't even that good for waiting an hour. Also, they didn't have any cauliflower items so all the vegans that placed orders were refunded without them knowing until they came to pick up their order which is extremely unprofessional.

Poor service

Food truck event scheduled to be open till 1pm. Truck was already closed and packing up at 12:50. Never got to try it.

This place is overpriced for no reason and it takes them for ever to get the food ready!! When I say overpriced, it`s way overpriced, and the food was not cooked well too!!! One person was ahead of me and it took more than 30 minutes to get a chicken sandwich !!!

Came across this place while taking a walk on my lunch and decided to give them a try. I got a thigh and leg, one wing, Mac n cheese and crinkle fries. Spent $30 after the tip but I was ok with that. The breading on the chicken was far too heavy. The flavor of the chicken was nonexistent… just extremely bland. The mac n cheese was good and the fries were seasoned well. One and done for me.

The food had no flavor.

Downtown Sacramento's Best Nashville Hot Chicken Nashville hot chicken has taken the country by storm, and Sacramento is no exception. Nash & Proper on K Street is the place to go for the best Nashville hot chicken in town. I visited Nash & Proper on K Street in downtown Sacramento on a beautiful day. The weather was perfect for a walk, and the ambiance on K Street was lovely. I ordered the #1 customer favorite Sammich and the 4 cheese blend mac 'n' cheese. The Sammich was delicious! It had a variety of textures and flavors, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I chose medium heat for the sandwich, but I think I should have chosen hotter. The 4 cheese blend mac 'n' cheese was also very good. It was creamy and cheesy, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. One minor complaint I have is that I didn't realize there was a self-service kiosk to place my order, so I stood around for a while waiting to be greeted by an employee. However, once I placed my order, the food came out quickly and was hot. Overall, I had a good experience at Nash & Proper. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Nashville hot chicken sandwich in downtown Sacramento. Tip: If you're visiting during peak hours, be sure to use the self-service kiosk to place your order to save time.

Pretty decent chicken place, ordered a couple tenders and got it with some bread. Chicken was nicely fried and the breading was nice and light which I prefer. After walking around town it was a lovely place to pick up a quick snack and would definitely be back. I have to say though, I wouldn’t mind a small side included in the price of the sandwich, even a handful of fries would have been nice. Ariana was great at the front, appreciated her attentiveness for the whole visit.
