I ordered a veggie pad Thai to go, and I almost broke my teeth when I took a bite because there were pieces of black shell in my food. The shell pieces look black on one side and pearlescent on the other side. Why are there shell pieces in my food? Couldn’t finish eating it. Sweet rice and mango tasted bad. Rice was so dense and seemed kinda old, it was hard to bite through. And mango was practically fermented. Pretty disappointed, and threw it away.
Awful food. Bland, watery, not much meat.
Not bad but not anything to comment on. Really just okay. I wasn't necessarily happy about the food but I didn't hate it.
Pretty good Thai food for Burlingame takeout. Fits the bill.
Authentic food with a reasonable price. Chicken fried rice and basil chicken are my favorites.
We stumbled upon Narin trying to avoid crowds in downtown Burlingame. Initially we were worried about the restaurant being empty when everywhere else was bustling. It filled up soon though. Let's be clear. This isn't a date spot. So the atmosphere naturally makes you believe you're going to taste some amazing Thai food. Unfortunately that isn't the case here. The food is slightly above average. To some degree, I'd say they barely can stay afloat. The satay was a bit dry, the soup a bit watery, and the Pad Thai a bit bland. We could definitely feel the home-style aspect of it but simply it wasn't able to overcome the mediocrity. Probably won't be returning. At least the prices were reasonable.
Quaint little place.....from outta state ans we're very happy to stumble upon. Food was excellent and the service great too.
