Came here for restaurant week and enjoyed it. We started with Tomato Bisque and Fried Mozzarella. We loved the lemon garlic aoloi with the mozzarella. We had the Beef Short Ribs and the Salmon. Great flavor for the Beef but wanted more sauce. The mushroom risotto was on point. We sent back the salmon because it looked and tasted more steamed than grilled. The 2nd Salmon was perfect. We loved the bread pudding which was served warm with ice cream. Service was attentive.
Like many reviewers, I was impressed with the ambience and disappointed with nearly everything else. It was incredibly hot in the restaurant. I asked the server about it and apparently their management won't allow any temperature adjustments. It had to be in the upper 70's or lower 80's in there. That's not cozy, it's miserable and just made us want to leave as soon as possible. The food was pretty forgettable. My friend ordered a salmon dish that was so tiny that we thought they messed up and gave her a half portion or something from the kids' menu. The salmon had no crust or crisp to it. Just warm fish meat over rice... barely better than a microwave meal. The general consensus among our party of six was that the food was "okay." If I'm spending that much, I expect more than "okay" food. Needless to say, this one will not be a repeater.
An instant new favorite! Super friendly staff, excellent drink selection (the Chai Espresso Martini is amazing!) and delicately balanced, delicious dishes. We keep going back to try new items, and still haven't had anything close to a disappointing choice. And their ambiance is perfect, for a classy date or a happy hour outing. See you again soon, NAPA!
Unique wine bar. Food was excellent. Service was very good. Dessert was delicious as well!
Wonderful place to go for a date. Always a first choice for me and the wife. Love the selection and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
