Amazing Italian cuisine!

My closest friends and I had the pleasure of dining at Nando in Manhattan Beach, and it surpassed all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by Dario, whose hospitality set the tone for the evening. The ambiance was enchanting, with romantic lighting and a soundtrack that perfectly complemented the cozy atmosphere. Throughout our meal, the attentive staff ensured that our glasses were never empty, The Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino wine paired so wonderfully with everything. Each dish arrived at just the right moment, allowing us to savor every sip of wine and engage in conversation while relishing each beautifully presented bite. The food was nothing short of a culinary adventure. We indulged in an array of dishes including the Bruschettone, Cavoletti Ortolani, Gnoccho E Costata, Gemellu Alla Norcina, Tonno Di Venere, Pollo Parmagiana, and finished with desserts. Although I regret not capturing more moments on camera, I've included a few photos to give you a glimpse of our experience. Nando is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that's perfect for impressing guests, a romantic date, or simply treating yourself to a memorable evening. Thank you, Nando, for creating the best dining experience we've ever had. We can't wait to return.

Quality of food was excellent and service was very good. We felt that the server put pressure on us to order quickly and we felt rushed to order our food. Being rushed resulted in a less than enjoyable experience.

How would you feel? We booked a reservation at Nando Trattoria on Valentine’s Day weeks in advance. We stumbled upon Nando back in early January. We had recently moved to Manhattan Beach, decided to walk around, made a reservation at a near by restaurant and got a glass of wine at Nandos bar top beforehand. We decided it was such a cute little spot we booked it for Valentine’s Day. Two days before our reservation they called us and asked us if we could move our reservation from 8pm to 8:30pm because they did not leave enough time for a table turn not a big deal but irritating because we had a babysitter who we now had to pay longer. We arrive at Nando get seated. 10-15min goes by the table next to us gets seated, 35mins go by no one has touched our table and we understand it’s Valentine’s Day it’s busy. Here’s when things took a turn. Remember the table that was seated next to us about 15min after we were seated. Believe it or not the server takes their food order first. We’re sitting there thinking okay annoying but that’s fine I’m sure we’re next. We have to be next right? Nope absolutely not. More time goes by so much more that the same table that got seated after us received their food order, started to eat and we still have yet to even order or be acknowledged. So how would you feel? It’s been almost an hour now. You’re sitting there feeling invisible, everyone else is being helped and you and your date are just sitting there being ignored. We walked out and left. The absolute cherry on top after all that waiting was the table that got seated after us eating their dinner before our order was even taken. I would love to know Nando Trattoria. Did you just forget we were even there? Or were we just not important enough for you to even take our order. We have never felt so disrespected, ignored and honestly invisible.

Few Vegetarian options. Very close tables where you can hear the conversations on both sides. Highly congested small location. Not good to have a nice and private dinner. Slow service . Parking is terrible and have to hunt for 40 minutes to find a spot. For the expensive price you pay for dinner it is not a place to go for a romantic dinner.

A jewel in the heart of Manhattan Beach. We had a pleasant New Year's Eve dinner with no reservations. The food is amazing! The service and attention was first class. Definitely pricey, but well worth it for a special evening.
