Gawd aweful coffee (think reusing grounds... thin and the only real flavor was in its muddy bitter aftertaste), great food, minimal atmosphere. This place is a throwback diner, which means it's more interested in good food than in decor, that's a good thing! The service is small town slow but friendly. I had the buscuits and gravy with sausage, eggs, and crispy hash downs. The only problem I had with it was that the hasbrowns were not cooked correctly. The buscuit was GINORMOUS, and awesome. My wife had the country potatoes, and we both enjoyed them very much. Both potato versions came in huge portions, easily shareable. Despite the bad coffee, this is a restaurant we will go back to for breakfast. Hopefully, they will improve the coffee in time.
