Always great service, always great food and great value!
Ate here for dinner yesterday evening , January 18, 2024, and got horrible food poisoning. Nonstop diarrhea and vomiting all night, and I nearly had to go to the ER. I got the tiger roll (fried shrimp, eel, avocado, and cucumber), edamame, and miso soup. The tiger roll tasted off immediately. This place used to be good but now they seriously need to have their sanitary practices checked! Don’t go here!
Used to love this place, went every week. Haven't been for awhile so decided to go for my spouse's birthday. Got miso soup and it was just broth. Nothing in it. Ordered seaweed salad and it tasted horrible. We couldn't even eat it. Got a few sushi rolls that tasted a little sour and old. Really low quality stuff. The staff were kind of rude. Only good part about our food was dessert. They used to give us 4-5 donuts per order and now just gave us 2. All in all, bad experience. Won't be returning. Very disappointing.
Nami has been my favorite restaurant for almost a decade, but the quality of food has gone down considerably the past few visits. I sat at the bar and asked the chef how’s he doing but he just gave me a dirty look and said nothing. I saw him using his phone while making food, he didn’t wash his hands in between. He also continued to use the phone after he put gloves on to touch the food. Everyone else was very nice though.
This is a great little place. The staff is friendly and attentive if informal. The value is really good and food usually pretty quick. Our kids like it. Lots of cooked and not so challenging options. My overall opinion of the food is that is passable and doesn’t disappoint but it’s not quite five star. However it’s also not expensive and some of the items are quite good. It is small so doesn’t hold large groups well and get there before the dinner rush if you don’t want to wait. Overall I’d recommend it for a casual meal in a low key setting. A solid neighborhood joint Parking: Never have to hunt. Always a spot. Many walk from nearby homes and businesses. Kid-friendliness: Lots of options. Very casual. Wheelchair accessibility: Wide unobstructed walkways with ramps and van spots up front.
The place was great if you're looking for AYCE sushi in Davis, CA. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
Food is good as well as the service. Great experience, highly recommend!
This is my favorite sushi place in Davis. The food is fresh and so flavorful. One of my favorite things is for all-you-can-eat, the rolls are a little bit smaller, which gives you a chance to try more things. (The rolls are normal size if you buy by the roll.). The staff is friendly and quick, and the whole place has a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend!!
