Had a reservation with my group and had to wait quite a bit but probably because the group prior to us was occupying one of the few tables they had, which wasn’t a big deal. Staff was super friendly and informative! We had the shishito peppers and the fries as starters. Recommend getting the mentaiko mayo with the fries. For the actual meal, I ended up ordering the “create your own” set and it was the one of the best and flavorful meals I’ve had in nyc. The everything smoked salmon temaki was so unique and my favorite was the x.o. scallop. Highly recommend coming here and make sure to make a reservation beforehand!

The temaki is a cool hand roll that almost feels like a mini taco! Got the signature set (my fave was the salmon) but I would say it’s not filling enough just to get that. So we also got appetizer (the furikake fries were good and the mayo is worth!) and the dessert. The sesame miso chocolate chip cookies were divine! Overall, it is pricey but I thought it was worth it.

Solid option for medium quality sushi. Great atmospher and love its cleaness. Some servers were nice and some were not.

A cool and fun spot for “more modern take on sushi”. Like a sushi taco! We ordered shishito peppers, spicy bamboo shoots and ocean trout sashimi. We selected two sets to try and loved the flavours. It was a bit messy and takes a bit of time to “unwrap” each one which is very different from traditional chopstick use. But the fish was fresh and everything was flavourful. Service was attentive for this small and intimate spot.

I gave Nami Nori 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pros: • Sushi so good, you'll want to marry it (but don't, that's illegal...for now) • Cozy spot to impress your date or pretend you're a sushi connoisseur • Service as warm as a hug from your favorite aunt (but less awkward) • Creative rolls that'll make you say, "I didn't know sushi could do that!" • Prime location for a sushi pilgrimage (yes, it's a thing now) • Tuna Tartar uhmazing!! • Furikaki Fries were so fresh and have a delicious, unique flavor with a perfect outside crunch and inside cremelike potatoe (the fry you crave) Cons: None! Just don't come here if you're allergic to happiness...or raw fish. Follow me on Google for more ❤️

Definitely on top of my fav restaurants Tatami very impressed me, but I’m very spoiled and it’s too hard to impress me, and this place did it. Insane We can’t stopped eat there everything was very delicious, for sure we will back
