Go to these before ever going here •Bueno Café •Dutch bros •camellia •old soul co •Philz coffee •temple coffee roasters •pachama • The service here was garbage. The workers here you can tell they are unhappy and really there for just a paycheck clearly you can tell they need. Arriving they didn’t greet nor smile when I went up they just looked at me up and down can tell the racist steeping through their pores lol I’m a Latina from LA and this was embarrassing behavior,there was a black gentleman in their and even when handing the coffee over they looked annoyed didn’t even tell the man have good day after handing it off. The coffee is mid. Was a waste of time and money. I work in a school district and share my coffee experiences with all so this is definitely the worst Sacramento coffee shop experience I had. You need workers with enthusiasm and energetic. They didn’t even try and help find a drink in my liking. Would give it -2. Could tell the girls need some at home training. I’m from the hood and this was a ghetto experience lol go

It was so much more cozy and warm feeling before they remodeled. There was more seating and the raised front seating area was a pleasant area. Now, the feel is more aloof and seems like more empty space, reducing closeness and seating. To those complaining about hot weather and the homeless, get a clue: Do you worry about those working all day in the summer, such as roofers, outdoor security guards walking their beat, landscapers, your gardeners, or road workers -- all working with no shade over them 8 hours a day? There are trees and shade in the park, right across the street, and free water too.

Update 11/27/2023 (Monday): Hours have adjusted due to lower demand from pandemic period and plummeting foot traffic from teleworking employees. Still a nice place for steaming hot drinks in fall/winter. Also good place for some snacks besides the usual bakery items.. .Check with the staff.. (circa 08/2021)My morning motivation place. . .For fine coffee and other items! Kid-friendliness: Staff provide child friendly environment and are receptive to conversation with the kids when not pressed for time. Well behave kids are grand and illustrate productive people of society. Wheelchair accessibility: Simple entrance with middle strength pneumatic door for entrance. Bathroom wall mounted bars have been re-enforced a few years ago after the interior change.
