Used to be really good. The phone ladies are extremely rude. They lie about how long orders take. They’ll tell you an hour for pick up only for it to be two hours. Go to one of the many nicer, friendlier options in the neighborhood. This place doesn’t care about their customers.
Very enjoyable sushi spot in a cozy Convenient spot in Long Beach. This resturant had such a cozy feel to it when we walked in. Super friend staff and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our orders came out nice and quick. We started with the gyoza, which had a great crisp to it. Then we split a few rolls. We got the crunchy spicy scallop roll, the no-name roll, and the smoked salmon roll. All very tasty, but the no-name roll was my favorite. The smoked salmon did have a very good smoked taste to it however. I noticed last minute that they had uni so I decided to give that a try. Very interesting, to say the least. Heavy ocean taste with a buttery texture. It's worth a try at least once. This place is worth a swing in if you're looking for some nice sushi. Parking: Free lot in the center if the street.
A no frills type Japanese restaurant. Sashimi was fresh. Glad I waited around on the boardwalk while waiting for the place to open. Although I would have preferred my shrimp tempura not to be in the udon when served, that always seems like a restaurant choice. Sashimi deluxe was great. All the fish seems fresh, although the amount of artificial crab pieces seems too high. Dishes were bussed quickly and often. Would visit again. Parking: Public lot and street parking.
I got food poisoning. Nuff said
Good food. Popular local establishment. Owner and wife work hard to make your experience perfect.
