Nadines Bakery

It's one of the hidden gems of Tucson. They are famous for their Russian (Ukrainian ?) tea biscuits and almond biscuits. Their challah bread is an old-world delight! And don't get me started on the world's flakeist apple and cherry turnovers. Lenny, the original owner/baker, handed off the business to his daughters, and they are keeping it old school, so the quality is still wonderfully the same. Lenny should be proud of them! FYI: I don't read other people's reviews before giving my review, so my thoughts are purely mine.

I found this little bakery about 5 years ago and try to come when ever i have a sweet tooth. Staff is super friendly and the treats are amazing and not overly sweet! Some of my favorites include the apple pie cheesecake omg the little bits of apple with the creamy cheesecake is delicious! lemon bars are another favorite and not too overpowering. They also have cake slices that are generous in size and so moist! cookies i must say the cherry almond are my favorite along with the giant black and white cookies. I love supporting local businesses and this one is a must try ♥️

Recently attended a party that the hostess served a specialty cake produced by Nadine's. Not only was the cake a real treat, moist and delicious, but the artistry in it's presentation was stunningly beautiful. In the post pandemic world where indifference rules supreme, it was truly refreshing to see the amount of care, effort and pride that went into the making of that cake. Bravo!

Shopping at the last minute - found the PERFECT cake for my occasion tonight. Best bakery ever.

Best cheesecake. Dense and flavorful a more New York style not creamy and messy. When you stick.you fork in, you can here its goodness. Love it with raspberry Jam and fresh raspberrys on top.

Amazing bakery with dairy free desserts!

After looking at 3 other bakeries, I found Nadines Bakery on line. I called and spoke to a friendly voice, indicated what I needed and was told I needed to go in to order. I did go in the following day where I was promptly greeted by a young lady, friendly and referred to someone else who may have been having a stressed morning. I was told I couldn't order my cake because they were booked. (I just needed the cake, no set up). I did let them know that I was told that I could order it and that's why I was there. I was able to order for pick up. This young lady's mood lightened up and the rest of my interaction with her was much more pleasant as we talked. I also purchased one of their cherry Danish. The Danish was very very good! PICK UP DAY: the cake was in the refrigerator and it was beautiful. I was anxious to taste it. It was boxed with care with instructions on how to carry it, where not to put it during transport. Went to the venue with the cake. Had dinner, cake was brought out and it was a big hit! The cake was absolutely perfectly delicious . IT'S A BOY I would recommend if you need a cake, cookies, turnovers, etc., that's where I'll be going! Not sure on all the prices. I was a little sticker shocked at the price of the cake, but in hindsight, it worked out just great. Thank you Nadines Bakery for a job well done

The bakers at Nadine’s are absolute magicians. My daughter wanted a white tiger cake for her birthday and they completely delivered! It helps that everyone who works here is super nice, too.
