Na Ya Dessert Cafe

I have returned countless times here for my kids who are obsessed with the desserts, and the squid curry is ok too, their customer service is lacking, but otherwise friendly, one of the girls who works there doesn't communicate properly so I try to be understanding but she just needs to work on her customer skills, I'm not un friendly she is just hard to understand, for example I'm eating and she interrupts me and asks are you paying with card or cash? I'm right in the middle of my meal? I say I have cash. She says " oh no no.phehshs I don't understand, I pull out my $100 she says no no, I don't have my debit with me , she starts getting red in the face , I'm confused and she's not making it any better .. get it together na ya !!

Soooooo good food!!!!!!!!!

Staff is friendly, and the cafe is cute and cozy. The chocolate lava cake is way too small for its price and also isn’t tasty. The fruit should be a garnish, but there is more fruit than cake. The cake itself is too floury. Another recommendation is that you have sample food on display somewhere in the restaurant.

Best mango sticky rice I’ve ever had

Cute little dessert place in the heart of Hayes Valley. I had a catch up with my friend there on Tuesday in a lunchtime and we were almost alone so could pick any place we like. Service was fast and we both liked what we got. The Thai tea crepe cake was delicate in flavor and very creamy with additional Thai tea sauce and bob on the side and chocolate lava cake with Thai tea was also great - a little sweeter but well balanced with strawberries and ice cream. I’d say that prices are a bit on a higher side here but the presentation and experience worth it.

Large menu with nice variety! Desserts we had were delicious! They could easily be shared. Around the corner from Hayes St, so cool to walk around and go there after.

Completely overpriced for what you get. Cute surroundings and decor and the food is aesthetically pleasing. But the quality of the food was not good in my opinion. The crepe cake tasted like it'd been in the fridge for days and the "boba" jelly that came with it had good flavour but a horrible hard gelatine texture. I believe I payed somewhere around 15 after tax for the crepe cake and my friend payed around twenty for the lava cake which wasn't all that good either. The lava cake was a step up from the crepe cake but it was a standard run of the mill lava cake. Not worth the price. If you're looking for a cute photo for social media, it's the right spot. But otherwise don't waste your money.

The dessert made with toasted sweet bread loaf and fresh coconut was delicious. The chocolate lava cake was good but not amazing.
