Had dinner here yesterday. Food was very good….veggie pasta dish was very a very small portion…especially for the price. Catch of the day very delicious. Brick chicken was plentiful and flavourful. Both daiquiri and pina colada mocktails very sugary. Mythos Potion drink was ok, but waaaayyy too much ice and it started to get watered down very quickly. Would’ve gotten 4 stars, but we asked to be seated outside to be told it was closed only to see multiple parties get seated outside once our meal had already begun. Our server was very nice and attentive. The AC was pumping and a couple in our party used the table napkins to keep warm. The layout was very interesting and we all like it. Just was expecting more from reviews before attending.
A year ago to the day my partner and I visited Mythos and ordered the Mediterranean octopus and we have not stopped talking about it since. I grew up in a Greek household with both grandparents still alive and cooking me octopus on a regular basis but nothing and I mean nothing compares to this octopus. I remember we ordered it, took one bite and had to order more. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend trying it. It’s the most authentic Greek I’ve had.
If you want a nicer sit down experience at the park then this is where to go. Our server Steven was so friendly and attentive, and all of our food came out hot and fresh. Mango lassi was great; husband tried old fashioned and bourbon iced tea (both pretty good). Lemon hummus we would recommend - great flavor but just thinner than we are used to. My scallop risotto was tender and yummy, and my husband’s pork chop looked great but was pretty dry inside and overcooked unfortunately. Also inside was FREEZING in some areas so beware…may wanna bring a sweater if you get cold easily. Overall enjoyed our meal and would return!
RESERVE! If you reserve your seating, everything will be painless and fast. Food is amazing, service was excellent and the atmosphere is a paradise. Portion are small, so that is something to take into consideration. Dietary restrictions: Many Greek choices like the spinach ravioli. Kid-friendliness: It’s inside Universal Wheelchair accessibility: Universal studios has made it simple enough for all to cruise by in any wheelchair.
Very please. Waiter was excellent and came to our table several times to fill our water or ask how we were
Very good food for a theme park
Great theming and overall a decent experience. Party of two, one gluten intolerant and the other regular. Great GF options, the server was really well informed and knew ingredients of each component of the meals to make adaptations. I opted for octopus which was delicious, then salmon which was also very nice. The problem ironically was with the regular meal- my husband had pork chop which was just “fine”, but everything else in his meal was cold and not very good at all. As we’d waited nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive by this time, with even the waiter coming to apologise for the delay and threatening not to leave the kitchen with our meals we didn’t complain, and it wasn’t full or overly busy. Not sure id rate this the “best theme park food ever”. Good, but not great.
