Very disappointing experience here. We had reservations, but within thirty minutes after sitting down we were rushed with finishing up our dinner. Four times within 10 minutes staff came up to see if we were done with our food. This was followed up with host coming by to see if we would move or take free desserts home to free up our table for another party. It left a very bad taste and we will never be coming back.

Dined in this beautiful taverna with my former colleague who visited from Miami. We were delighted at the service Ms. Daphne she was so attentive she told us the special of the day and honestly I don’t have room but wished to have more of all on their menu , the manager very knowledgeable and welcoming to all the guests . The food delivered on time and to describe scrumptious dishes it reminded me of the hospitality of my village of Crete . I highly recommend but get there early it gets full fast . Can’t wait to go back and enjoy this gem on the Upper East Side . Vegetarian options: Spinach pie, Greek salad, hummus , zucchini chips, eggplant dip and greens , lentil soup, Green salad .

The food itself is good, not great.. The atmosphere is basic, small and very loud There are quite a few Greek restaurants in that same area that are much better .. We were seated 45 minutes over our reservation, ok fine, things happen. But then they closed the kitchen while we were eating, no coffee, no dessert and cleaning up around us. Very unprofessional. They failed to understand basic requested credit card accommodations, making paying for our friends not a surprise but chaos .. But the worse thing, the reason why I'm writing this review, They gave us the bill without a breakdown of the charges .. and when they got us the breakdown after it was requested twice, they charged us $30 over the correct bill So .. Food, mediocre .. Service, mediocre to bad .. Atmosphere, almost horrible Shady Bllsht, great and on point My recommendation .. Go to Korali Estiatorio on 3rd .. its 100 x's better
