Best Cajun food in the state. I lived in Louisiana for 25 years and this place is the only authentic stuff you get here. I've eaten there a number of times and never gotten a bad meal. I recommend it to all my friends who wanna taste of authentic Cajun.

The Fried Catfish was perfection! The Greens and Yams were inedible! Horrible, way too much vinegar or something. I couldn't take more than two bites! Kid-friendliness: Plenty of indoor and outdoor parking.

Food was too salty, that small pieces of fish wasn't a pound. Matter of fact, the whole meal wasn't even 1lb. Portions look nothing like they advertised. Lobster Mac and cheese was dry, no cheese or Lobster. The greens were ok. But the customer service was great. I hope the manager reads the reviews. Do better if you plan to stay in business.

The fish was all batter, fried extra extra hard. Not even edible. Never again.

I’m the type of person who doesn’t look at five star reviews so I made this one four-star even though it deserves a five star. Sorry in advance. The catfish tacos were awesome and only $10 for two with fries. It tasted great and the fries were seasoned very well. I’d just recommend better hot sauce options instore. Will be coming back

$23 for a pound of catfish? I was given two very small fillets and they were both cut down the middle and deep-fried which was maybe a half a pound at best. Seriously restaurant owners should be embarrassed trying to screw over their customers that way. I guess that's just the trend nowadays in good Ol upscale North Hollywood. I didn't want to embarrass the sweet kid that waited on us by asking him to weigh it out and then have to stay around another 20 minutes for him to cook me up another few pieces of fish... or maybe that's not even management's policy to make their orders right when they're clearly not serving out the portions they advertise. Don't even get me started on the size of the drink cups or tiny plastic containers for the sides that are six bucks

I am from Mississippi. I wanted to like the food. I hated it. Mac and lobster had no flavor. Pot liquor on greens lack flavor. Greens were slightly steamy. Catfish has poor seasoning. Like it was missing something. I couldn't even eat the candied yams. They mixed on the spice level. I spent 20+ dollars on bad food that I couldn't really eat. I am very disappointed. I still have a five star because it was black owned and wanted this to be more as feedback rather than punitive.

Fish and shrimp were delicious, but small portions and the "lobster" mac & cheese were disappointing. The almost $5 side of mac & cheese was too peppery and not cheesy enough. It seemed like the "lobster" bits were shreds of imitation crab. The Po' Boy was yummy but too small for $12.
