Mucca Osteria

This place was amazing! The food was impeccable (we ordered prix fixe), the service was attentive, friendly and very well organized, the seating was excellent, the wine pairing was perfect, what else is there to say? If we are ever in Portland this is absolutely getting another visit!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The food was mixed. The chef inserts sugary things in odd ways. A wager that was quite sweet in beef salad. Sugared nuts in Gorgonzola gnocchi that was otherwise delicious. Truffle pasta was great. Didn’t really feel that Italian. So it was fine but wouldn’t go back.

The place looked nice at first then they tried to seat me and my girl at a 4 person table in the middle of everyone when I asked for a good seat lol but also I asked for no mushrooms on the reservation, cause I’m allergic and my 2nd dish had mushrooms in it, for some reason people were kind of staring at use and giving us weird looks so my girl didn’t like it and we left without finishing our 5 course meal… not a great experience there at all.

We went here for Valentines Day. They had a special prepaid course menu. It’s a small restaurant with a nice layout. We ate upstairs and had a nice view. The food was all super great and service was on point. I especially like the slow cooked beef. The lobster tortellini was a tad fishy to me, but my wife loved the flavor.

Downtown continues to shine and Mucca is delivering the goods. Pretty special night with friends, amazing food, and a warm and welcoming experience.

Great food and atmosphere! Excellent service! Will come back for sure! —————————- I’m back 4 years later now, thanks to COVID . Still the best restaurant I have had so far. Highly recommend the tasting menu, with 6 courses, but same price as normal 3 courses, instead you get more varieties.

Susie at the chef’s counter is what’s up! I understand it’s hard for women to bust through in the culinary aspect of restauranteering. She has done it! With accolades. The service is wonderful and the Chef experience with superior. Thank you so much we will be back to see you on Wednesday. It was so amazing.

New Pizzaria next to Mucca Osteria all orders were delicious. 1 pizza, 1 pasta de mar, foccacia sandwiches, and delicious dessert. Reasonable prices.
