The food is tasty, and the service was outstanding. It was a great place to taste a new twist on potatoes as well as some really good Brazilian favorites.

We went because I saw it on triple D, and since we made the drive to Orlando from Tampa, we decided to have dinner here. We had the truffle fries as an appetizer. They were fairly good, but the server forgot to bring the “sauces “ to dip them in, and we had to ask for some. I got the chicken/bacon/ ranch Rosti. My husband had a Rosti, with some type of Brazilian “sausage “ in it…….I don’t remember the exact name. Both dishes came out quickly enough, but mine tasted like boiled, shredded chicken inside hash browns. The potatoes were good, but there was no “ranch” flavor or sauce inside. If there was bacon in it, I didn’t see or taste it. My husbands was a little more flavorful, but he said he wouldn’t get it again. The waitress was pleasant, but never came back to fill our water. (That’s all we had to drink). 2 entrees, 1 app.and 2 waters was $65.

To start, this restaurant gets a 4⭐ pretty much across the board, but even that is shaky rating. It's good, but needs to shave some items off the menu, or at least revamp the flavor of a few things to make the food really "pop" in all categories. Food was ultimately hit or miss. The parts that were good ended up shining a little bit more than they realistically should have. However, that's because the items that weren't so good were really not enjoyable by anyone in the party. We ordered the cheese balls appetizer, two kids meals (crusted chicken with broccoli, and a basket of fries for them to share), a chicken, bacon & ranch rosti, a duo of empanadas (one chicken, one shrimp), gnocchi with marinara, and a broccoli & cheddar rosti. Among those items, the most enjoyable were the two rostis and, shamefully, the french fries. The cheese balls had minimal flavor to them on the inside, so it simply tasted like bland cheese with breading on the outside. The children's chicken was somewhat cold, yet edible; they didn't mind it themselves. The empanadas were given an, "I'll eat these, but not exactly with enthusiasm," sort of response. The gnocchi was also given a "mediocre" sort of response; they appeared to be a little hard from being overcooked, but the marinara was noted as being somewhat tasty. And finally, the two rostis were agreed upon as the best items we all tried, and were actually served piping hot! However, the catch is it's not actually the interior that caught our taste buds-- it was the actual potato itself. Given the name of the restaurant, that shouldn't be a surprise, however, we left somewhat disappointed that we effectively ordered "okay" food with what effectively simply ended up being amazing hash browns. Service was nice, more than passable, but not exceptional in any particular way. It's disappointing that this restaurant is located on the corner of a shopping strip, tucked away and hidden from people stopping by Publix to do their shopping. This restaurant had potential, but when it came time to swing, Mrs. Potato struck a foul ball. The silver lining here is it wasn't a strike, therefore Mrs. Potato is more than capable of improving itself and making a home run. There simply need to be some elevations in flavor across the board to make it stand out from other typical restaurant fair around the area. Vegetarian options: There are some clearly labeled vegetarian options throughout the menu. One in our party is vegetarian and found multiple options she wished to try. Parking: This section of the strip was largely empty of vehicles due to lack of traffic to that side of the lot, so parking was plentiful at the time of our visit. Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu with some crayon activities available. You'll probably hear minimal complaints from the little ones.
