Maihan is very sweet! Great treats and loved the Turkish coffee A must visit whenever you’re in SD the store also has lots of great middle eastern products.
Mr Fatemeh has an excellent social interaction with customers. She is a fantastic representative for this store. خانم فاطمه هم میهن افغانی ما بسیار فروشنده ی خوبی هستند.
8.99$ for this piece of knefe Does not compare to the knefe we have in Lebanon ! (Where it will probably cost less than 2$).
I come here weekly for their Turkish delight. Melis & Fatameh are kind and helpful!
They have a lot of good selections, but most of their baklawa is too sweet. However their green baklawa /dolma baklawa was on point very delicious !
First time having baklava and now I can’t stop! DELISH!
While I still prefer Baklava King's fresh baklava this place is closer, and offers more variety. They also sell cakes by the slice. We tried rose pistachio and the cream was just perfect. The cherry cake was also good - sweet and sour. They also have plastic forks if you want to stuff your face in the car :)
I got one of each baklava type dessert on the counter and they were hit or miss and expensive. That tray of 12 pieces was $28. Half of them tasted good, but only the chocolate/pistachio one was great. Multiple pieces tasted old and had bitter tasting filling. Maybe I didn’t understand some of the things I ordered, but they were not consistently pleasing.
