The owner is a total gentleman whose dignity and elegance is only surpassed by his knowledge of food products. They already know I go there from time to time to get select Jamon Serrano and know exactly how I want it cut and what I look for when purchasing. Unlike other self-proclaimed gourmet stores that strive to impress, you do not feel pressured or judged here. My sincere gratitude. Always.
I love this place and eat here regularly! Sandwiches are delicious, staff is great. Best place for a good sandwich in this neighborhood.
Roberto, expert cheese monger and I go a long way back. He was lured by Mr. Vino to open and stock Cucina from another well known establishment. I been pantrying items from this brick and mortar gem for my larder since the grand opening. They have a stellar selection of charcuterie board items and the best marinated Feta cheese from believe-it-or-not Australia. As well as, corporate gifts for the holidays. Limoncello, and Pistachio Cream flavored Panettone among my favorites. But, I’m writing about was the killer vegetarian panini and cream of mushroom soup. I generally cook at home because of my dietary restrictions but this was so good, I felt compelled to call back the chef (Roberto) and compliment him.
I got the Bella. It was ok. Too much mozzarella and not enough prosciutto.
Great selection of cold cuts and deli product. Very high quality. Sandwich was fantastic
Very clean and good quality
Really happy to see a vegan cheese option in here, a rare commodity for an Italian deli. Delicious food, very friendly service. Premium pricing but that's probably standard for the neighborhood. Update: I looked it up and the cheese isn't vegan It's just made with coconut in it as well as milk. Good spot anyway but, y'know, not vegan. Dietary restrictions: One vegan (coconut oil-based) gouda
Best sandwich’s in Austin Street! My co workers and I love the “Spanican” but all of their food is amazing and the employees are welcoming and kind
