First time here 10/23. Ordered Cookies and Cream cup $6. Would say less sweet than Handles or other versions. Good texture and priced about the same for similar portion.
美味しい〜♡ すぐ近くのお店で早めの夕食を食べた後、こちらにアイスクリームを食べにきました。 とっても美味しかったので、また違うフレーバーを試したい。
Delicious, constantly experimenting with new flavors
Such a great little Ice cream window. The flavors never disappoint... But please bring back the Lemon Biscotti!!!
Portion size decreased by 50% for cone scoops in the past week. Some of the flavors are quite tastey (others lacking strong flavor), but I'm having a hard time justifying a $10 cone price with such small scoop size
Andes Avalanche is incredible for mint chocolate lovers.
Came here on the spur of the moment with my husband on the way to see a movie. We usually go get gelato late at night but we didn't have any time and lucked out seeing this ice cream store hidden. A very small entrance which was basically just a counter in the wall. No actual store with the seating area and all of that stuff. Person working there was super nice and gave us such giant spoonfuls for just tastes of the flavors! I ended up getting a Cookies & Cream and husband got the Apple Pie flavor. Both amazing! Social so many chunks of Oreos in the cookies and cream! Definitely much more than I was expecting. Most places usually have a smooth vanilla ice cream with some bits of the cookie, but this one was almost a half and half lol And that Apple Pie Ice Cream? Oh man! I was very hesitant to even try it coz not too much of a fruity dessert person by this one was very nice. Not super sweet and not super fruity. Actual chunks of something that was probably pie crust and maybe even pieces of apple? I have no idea but it was really good! The Rocky road ice cream had too much Marshmallow so we didn't go for that. Overall love the place! Ice cream wasn't super hard so we didn't have to wait too long to eat it.
A perfect addition to the Mission Hills neighborhood for a sweet treat. They rotate flavors regularly and also have their usual soft serve options, too. The Robin’s Egg flavor for Spring is absolutely delicious. A bit bummed that they no longer offer their “pup cup” for dogs, but not a deal breaker.
I waited 1.5 years until they offered a coconut option and I finally got one: coconut cream pie. I paid ten dollars (w/tip) for this medium size scoop in a waffle cone. Sigh. The Crunchies in the ice cream were good, but where was the butterfat? And where was the coconut shreds or flavor of any kind? If a coconut ice cream is not creamy smooth wonderful than what will other flavors be like??? I guess that Hammonds Gourmet ice cream in North Park or Point Loma remains King of the Butterfat Hill!
