Mr. Fish & Chips

I got it via Delivery because of so many great reviews. However, the fish is all about the cover for the fish n this tasted like dish water n was very overpriced. I had to throw out my whole meal. Now I am hungry without my meal. (Not even my cats would eat it)

What an amazing food experience. They try to order so don’t come here if you are in a hurry. Call ahead if you need to. Food is so tasty. Portions are out of this world. Staff is SO kind. Owner is an absolute gem. They do not make owners like him anymore. Always bring out of town guests here for dinner or order to go. Nothing brings me more joy than walking in the house with that happy brown box full of tasty goodness.

Food was greasy and fries were limp. Guy at register was rude. He refused to give me a cup of water and insisted I buy some instead. I posted this review before and it disappeared. Can a shop do this? BTW restaurants are supposed to provide water by law. Needless to say, I won't be back.

This has the best Fish and Chips I have ever tasted! Sam the owner is such a great guy with his friendly demeanor and a smile for everyone! He uses cod fish and fries it to perfection! Thanks Sam, we will be back soon and often!

Yummy fish and chips with crunchy batter cooked to perfection. It's in a strip mall, so it's all about the food, not atmosphere. So it's good...

The food was great golden fried ! Everything was good we tried will definitely return and the owner or guy in front taking orders was very nice

I don't know why I don't eat here more often! They used to be next door to Vons when I was a kid & we went once or twice. When Vons expanded twenty something years ago they moved across the parking lot a bit. They have batter dipped fried foods that are always fresh, crisp & delicious. One of the few places to offer fried Oysters, my favorite. Even Anthony's doesn't have fried Oysters anymore. I had been thinking of them for a while & happened to be dropping off something at the UPS store. So I walked over and ordered one fish & chip (so many fries!), the fish is a large decent size portion. Enough for one. Enough fries to share. I also got 8 fried Oysters, so good! Couldn't resist an order of fried Zucchini as well. (If memory serves, they have yummy hushpuppies too.) Of course it was too much food, didn't finish the fries or Zucchini but will be back for more. The gentleman taking my order was very nice & ket me know my order was almost ready. Takes about 15 minutes. He gave me tarter sauce, cocktail sauce, ranch & malt vinegar. I really wanted to redue the inside, kind of cluttered with supplies and such. Super nice people, love supporting local & you can't be more local than Mr. Fish & Chips!

Never even got a chance to order. Rang the bell on the counter for service and waited about 7 minutes and no one came to the front to take my order. The front counter was also a bit cluttered with random stuff that would not pertain to the restaurant so I’d say the clutter is also in the owner/managers mind. No organization.

Went here for lunch. Place was clean and ordering was a breeze. Got the two fish and chips combo. Fish was golden and crispy. Fish was cooked well and tender. The fries were very crispy which I like. The batter can use a touch of salt but overall a gold experience.
