1/30/24 So another increase in the apricot pastry; BUT where's the custard in it??? Gone it seems??So higher price AND less the ingredient that made it so good in the first place. 10/16 reply I do agree goods have gone up flour and such BUT I know for a fact your sandwhich was $9 just a couple weeks ago!! I am a semi regular as is my daughter!!! And youor mille fuille was $5 last year!!!Ate there again recently food very good still BUT prices keep rising to the point of gouging in my opinion!!!!! Don't know if I can justify $7.50 for a pastry!!!!! And the sandwhich went up $2.00 in one week that's a huge percentage increase in a hand held deli sandwhich. Gouging!!!???? actually 4.5 there's always a little room for improvement. Anyway, this little shop in the middle of town has excellent French pastries!!! My favorite is the Napoleon or mille fuille. Treat yourself sometime.

Delicious! I recommend Le Croque Madame. J’ai aimé l’accent français aussi.

Great atmosphere .

Ive never been treated so bad over an allergy. Its hard enough to eat out in public let alone get treated nasty over it. I ordered a chicken sandwich and asked about the pesto. I asked if it had dairy and I was told multiple times by many people that it did not. I asked another member after I paid if it had dairy and he said let me ask the chef. The chef confirmed that yes he made it in house and it was made with parmesan cheese. The issue to me isn’t that it had cheese, the issue is how I was treated, I was treated like I was stupid because “pesto is not a cheese”. I had to get 3 refunds. I told her after she treated me that way I wanted a full refund, well first she refunded my sandwich, second the drink, third my tip.

To preface this review, we arrived at MOULIN at about 2:45 (15 minutes before close) so the kitchen was closed (i.e. only pre-made sandwiches available) and the staff were eager to get outta there. Given this, MOULIN was a good experience - especially as the staff were hurried but still patient, amicable, and kind with us. I got the fresh OJ and it was great - it was not as acidic as some others tend to be. I also got the smoked salmon sandwich and the salmon was great (not over-salted); the avocados were fresh; and it overall was an excellent choice for lunch. My wife got the vegetarian option and while she said it was a decent-tasting sandwich, she was hungry again in about a couple of hours - unheard of, for me. The bread itself was a little stale - which, from a Parisian-style cafe with the tagline "Stay French" felt wrong for baguette's sake! Overall: some good food (hit or miss though) and excellent service. Nice place to people-watch and idle away as well.

Great coffee, fresh pastries, wonderful atmosphere. I love this place!

Good coffee and deserts. However they refused to warm up my croissant. Huh? So i had a cold hard croissant. After i posted this someone from the store asked me to name one place in Paris that heated up my croissant. Well i can not name one place. I lived in Andorra for a year and traveled all over France, Germany, Spain and italy. Never had anyone refused to warm up a croissant that i can remember.
