I didn't want to break the 5.0 ratings streak, but the matter is that this place really deserves all 5 for its uniqeness. The place is thoughtfully laid out and appointed, soft lighting and muted pastels. Geared towards socializing with the other folk present, or just keeping your own company. No video screens to distract you from the company of friends and strangers, background music is just that...enhancing the conversations, not overwhelming them. Staff are helpful guiding one picking through the wine lists but also are content letting one explore on their own.
Great wine bar, amazing art show from local Artist Anthony Pinata & family, and fantastic place to chat with friends and have a good time.
I loved the way I was welcomed into this space! My partner came on opening night, and had mentioned it a few times so we made our back over to Alameda and I enjoyed the Curran Grenache Blanc!
One of my favorite bars to go to, this spot to open and airy so you can relax while sipping great wine. The local wall art is always a plus too!
Gorgeous, romantic space with thoughtful details and a well-curated wine list featuring a varied selection of wine (and beer and sake, etc) styles from WOMEN owners and makers—well-known names alongside many under the radar gems. Knowledgeable staff.
WONDERFUL experience at MO’s Wine Bar! For starters, it’s such a beautiful, spacious location with great music, the wine selection is INCREDIBLE, the champagne is so YUMMY! Damian greeted us and really took care of us from start to finish with so much care and attention. If that wasn’t great enough, the food is PHENOMENAL! Chef Lo whipped up some delicious food and even made a vegan dish for me. I’d 110% recommend to my friends and everyone to visit this beautiful wine bar. It is hard to find a wine bar with amazing wine and phenomenal service and food and MO’s really knocked it out the park!
All wine by women winemakers?! So cool. Cute atmosphere and super relaxed way to spend some time. Will be back for sure! Great wine bar in alameda
The owner is an Alameda native and this wine bar is well on its way to becoming a core business in the community: great wines, expert service, and a high-end ambiance that elevates the whole experience. We also had the “purple-haze” cheese plate, chips, and tomato soup. All superb. Bravo!
