I've had this food about 5 times and I'm pleased to say I'm always satisfied! They are consistent! The food is good and clean! The staff is pleasant and handle the food perfectly. They serve good portions.

The macaroni literally taste like garlic it’s disgusting and that dressing is terrible I just left there and very disappointed I paid $55 for 2 plates of trash smh

I had the opportunity to visit Morrison two times this month. The food was good and I felt safe enough to eat inside. However I did find the food to be very pricey for 79th street $34 for a short rib plate , And $24 for a Smothered chicken dinner. When the display gets low they was a little slow refreshing the chicken. We should not be so hard on our Black Businesses. In fact we should give them Grace. I do believe the prices will keep a lot of people in the community from trying the food. $15 to $17 is a great price to consider to feed everyone in the community. As more Black businesses are coming to the area this Store has out prices its self from regular repeat customers. When you fail to meet the Customer needs. It’s ok to apologize. Then ask the Customer what can you do to make their experience better. We want you to come back. Thats why I’m giving Morrison soul Food. 5 Stars,The prices will keep Bad people away. So Only Good People are eating good food!

This place is over priced and it just doesn't make any sense. I try to support our Own people but you can't especially when they are trying to be greedy

I used to go to morrison’s when they used to be on Ashland years ago and then I stopped because they fell off the food became horrible. I said let me give them a try since they are on 79th. I should have left well enough alone because the food was horrible. The only thing that I could try to finish was the Cajun chicken which still wasn’t all that and everything else disgusting. Then when asking about there drinks they selling cool-aid for $3 a cup yes you heard me right ridiculous. For the prices of the food to be what it is and be that nasty it’s a definite no for me I definitely don’t recommend!

Convenient location, the vibes is good, food is good. But the workers good be a little more friendlier and faster.

Way overpriced short ribs for the amount of food given. Food on hot bar looked dried out and unattended. Not impressed by the appearance of the food on the hot bar at all. And the response from the owner with other reviewers opinions I'm pretty sure she's going to reply with some unprofessional response.
