Morrisons Cafe

The food always seems subpar, the breakfast is by far the worst I've ever had, anemic bacon, sausages that aren't always consistent, hash browns that are undercooked, luckwarm beans and a dry mushroom. Also, for some reason they can't get chips right, always seems undercooked. They only have 1 self-checkout, so expect a long queue on busy days. The café looks understaffed, so it isn't fair me mentioning the customer service part of the review as working in hospitality can be stressful with little to no recognition. They do the best they can.

Self service, whilst two staff members on their phones, absolutly no interaction with customers, on the self service machine could not order tea Informed staff to be told no tea available due to broken boiler, coffee was brought to our table after a couple of sips noticed lipstick on my cup, returned and apologised to, breakfast arrived promptly but ultimately cold, which leads me to believe pre cooked under a heat lamp. Would not recommend.

Get rid of the cafe! 2 coffees took 40 minutes to arrive and we're discusting and cold! Left a strange taste in mouth. Others had a full English breakfast, they just about managed to get through it. Shame.

If you have all the time in the world to sit and wait for food to arrive, this is your place. Rude staff, cluttered tables, and shocking service. "Were very busy today" maybe invest in more staff?

What you would expect food wise, friendly and helpful staff Kid-friendliness: Often have a free kids meal with an adult meal

Not sure if they were having an off day as I've been for breakfast several times in past and always been lovely. Today though was horrid. Firstly they ripped me off by £1.60 as they didn't add the extra bacon to burger I ordered and never fetched sauces either. Chips were so over cooked the potato inside was almost none existent. Mushy peas were like playdoh. When fetching the plates and hot tea they insisted on passing it over my baby's head instead of just passing from the back. Burnt my hands on plate they were that hot. Had to ask for forks as none clean. Didn't have the beef dinner which is main thing I went for. No one manning till. My fish was nice but the rest was way over cooked

Not easy to navigate food order. Service slow, ate meal before beverages arrived. Tables not cleaned and cleared during our visit. No clean trays available. Food quality poor. Should of stayed in Boundary mills

Shocking service, scruffy tables, very rude staff member on takeaway section. Not helpful, won't return gone down hill since covid.

Was very disappointed food was not nice and so overpriced

However morrisons managed to find sausages as cheap as these I'll never know. The fish and chips looked lovely However they were absolutely tasteless and don't mention the cold cup of tea.
