One of Brooklyn's BEST offerings of Barbecue - Morgan's is the epicenter of deliciousness. Indoor and outdoor dining with a HUGE drink menu only compliments their smoky eats! The Pastrami Rib is the huge WIN here - Slide off the bone, beautifully smoked with a flavor that puts Kosher restaurants to shame... MUST HAVE. The Candied Bacon is to die for as is the Pork Belly - Make sure you order servings of both while there, you'll thank me! The Ribs and Brisket have been a staple at the big local competitive for years now and there's a reason why they're always one if the favorites - They're AWESOME! Another highlight is the Sausage - Perfect snap with flavor that claps back! Sides including the Mac & Cheese (3 cheeses), Cornbread, Potato Salad and Cole Slaw are all perfect to accompany your proteins. I suggest a visit, VERY highly recommended! **Update - Still amazing! Check out their sister restaurant, Tiny's Cantina too... only a block over (incredible guacamole)!
Amazing place to go to relax and join a meal with friends Their cornbread is absolutely delicious and their drinks are wonderful A must try
My girlfriend and I went here for restaurant week, and I have to say, this spot was well worth the trip from Queens. The price of the full meal for restaurant week was only $30 a person! Not bad for the quality of the food. Plus, the staff was very attentive, and the ambiance definitely gave the Texas BBQ vibe. Morgan’s is definitely one of the best BBQ spots I’ve been to since moving away from Texas. That said, I have only one complaint. The banana bread pudding was not to my taste. Which was very disappointing, because regular banana pudding is one of my all time favorite desserts. The bread pudding was really dense, and a bit hard to chew. Kinda felt rubbery. To be fair, my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed it. So, it’s mostly just a personal preference thing. All in all, I’d very much recommend Morgan’s for a nice dinner or date night out in Brooklyn.
Great food! Both gluten free and gluten full. Shoutout to Penny and Brandon! I went for NYC restaurant week and emailed ahead asking what from the restaurant week menu was GF. They emailed back and were happy to! I got the Texas Chili Bowl, Saucy Pork Ribs, and Vanilla Ice Cream. I also got a side of Loaded Baked Potato and split Street Corn with someone. Really really good bbq! The Smoked Atlantic Salmon is also gluten free. I didn’t ask about anything else but I’m sure there’s a few more things on the menu. Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my gluten allergy so I’m sure they can for others.
Food(ribs, mac&cheese, wings, baked potato)and drinks was good. Brownie was amazing.
