Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria

Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Similar to other Moretti's locations, service is a bit less than mediocre but food is good. Bar area wasn't super busy yet our food came out longer than expected. Others who came after received their food earlier than us. Bartender may have forgot to actually put in the order but checked in and told us every so often food would be coming out any minute. Pictured here is their Homemade Short-Rib Ravioli and 14" Pepperoni Pizza (half-off on Tuesdays). I love the classic Chicago vibe and both outdoor and wooden interior structure of this location. Lots of history. Parking: Street parking, whether paid or not - Pay attention to the signs.

Great food! Service a little slow compared to my other dining!

Went to dine in - horrible service. Appetizers came out and dinner within 2 min later. Soup cold; calamari cold. Burger had patty separation paper still on in the bun. Server never asked if anyone wanted a 2nd drink. Manager never apologized but said it was calamari that caused the problem in serving. Food expeditor looked like he wanted to fight when asked to get manager. Whole exp was horrible and very disappointing. They did take $100 of the meal but I’m not sure I’d ever go back.

I recently dined at Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria and unfortunately, my experience was not up to par. The waiter assigned to our table was not very attentive, and we had to seek out other waiters and waitresses to get the service we needed. I believe the young man's name was Alex, and his lack of attention to our table was disappointing. Despite the service issues, I must admit that the food at Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria was not half bad. The quality of the food was decent and somewhat made up for the lackluster service. Overall, my experience at Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria was subpar due to the inattentive waiter. While the food was decent, the service aspect significantly impacted my dining experience. I would recommend that the restaurant address the issue of attentiveness among their staff to ensure a more pleasant visit for customers.

We were there for celebration of life

This place is AWESOME!! The food was really good and you get so much. The atmosphere was great, my family really enjoyed it. Our server was really attentive and friendly. Even the manager came over to help clear our table and check to make sure everything was great. We'll definitely be back many times.
